Shivrajkumar’s ‘Gaur Naidu’ Look Raises Expectations on ‘Peddi’ Even Higher
Mega Power Star Ram Charan is gearing up to create a box office storm with his much-awaited rustic sports drama Peddi. The film has already generated massive buzz with the recently released glimpses that showcased Ram Charan in a powerful and intense avatar, raising expectations among audiences across the country. Now, the makers have kickstarted massive pan-India promotions for the film.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, Peddi is being mounted as a grand visual spectacle that promises a unique cinematic experience for Indian audiences. The highly anticipated theatrical trailer of the film is set to be launched at a grand event in Mumbai on May 18.
Meanwhile, the makers surprised fans by unveiling a powerful character introduction video featuring Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar as Gaur Naidu. The video showcases Shiva Rajkumar in a commanding wrestling arena sequence, leaving audiences impressed with his intense screen presence. The glimpse hints that his character will play a very powerful and significant role in the film.
The movie stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, while Jagapathi Babu and Divyenndu Sharma will be seen in pivotal roles.
Presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, the film features cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and production design by Avinash Kolla. The makers promise world-class production values that are expected to leave audiences mesmerized.
National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli has already completed the full edit lock for the film, while post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace. Peddi is scheduled for a worldwide release on June 4, 2026, with premieres planned a day earlier on June 3.
