After the massive Pan-India success of Mirai, People Media Factory is gearing up for their next highly anticipated musical romantic entertainer Telusu Kada. Directed by noted stylist and filmmaker Neeraja Kona, the film stars Siddu Jonnalagadda alongside Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna in lead roles. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Kriti Prasad, the film’s music has already topped the charts, and the teaser has created huge buzz. Telusu Kada is all set for a grand theatrical release on October 17.

In an exclusive media interaction, Srinidhi Shetty opened up about her experience working on the film, her character, and collaborating with director Neeraja Kona and co-stars Siddu and Raashii.

Q: You’re doing a love story for the first time. How does it feel?

Srinidhi: I’m really happy! My previous films like KGF and HIT 3 were packed with action, intensity, and a lot of bloodshed (laughs). Telusu Kada is a light-hearted, feel-good romantic drama – something totally new for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and I believe audiences will feel the same joy when they watch it in theatres.

Q: What was it about this story that attracted you the most?

Srinidhi: When people hear there are two heroines and one hero, they instantly assume it’s a typical love triangle. But Telusu Kada touches on a very unique point that hasn’t been explored before. I can’t reveal it now, but I promise the audience will be pleasantly surprised when they watch the film.

I actually love romantic stories. This one is filled with heart, humor, and beautiful emotions. I heard the story even before HIT 3 happened, and I instantly connected with it. It’s a proper commercial entertainer with romance, emotions, laughter, and chartbuster songs.

Q: How was it working with director Neeraja Kona?

Srinidhi: Neeraja garu is incredibly passionate about her craft. Her vision is very clear, and she knows exactly how to connect with the audience. On set, she was calm, soft-spoken, and extremely supportive. It’s refreshing to work with a director who balances style and sensitivity so well.

Q: What makes Telusu Kada special in your view?

Srinidhi: It’s a genuine feel-good entertainer. The story has a fresh and emotional core, with three characters that audiences will easily relate to. You’ll laugh, feel, and thoroughly enjoy the journey on the big screen. I think people will especially love Siddu’s character – it’s very charming and entertaining.

Q: Tell us about your character, Raga. Do you relate to her personally?

Srinidhi: There are definitely a few similarities between Raga and me. But she also has a slight grey shade, which makes her more layered and interesting. Personally, I’m not like her, but playing such a complex role was creatively fulfilling.

Q: How was it working with Siddu Jonnalagadda and Raashii Khanna?

Srinidhi: Siddu is extremely talented and knowledgeable about every aspect of filmmaking. It’s rare to find an actor who understands all departments so well. His comic timing is outstanding.

Raashii is one of the most disciplined co-stars I’ve worked with. Her dedication to fitness, diet, and her craft is inspiring. She brings so much grace and energy to the set.

Q: You’re a fan of Thaman’s music, right?

Srinidhi: Oh yes! I’ve always been a big fan of Thaman garu. I was thrilled when I learned he’d be composing for Telusu Kada. The songs that have been released are already huge hits, and the background score is going to elevate the entire film.

Q: How was your experience working with People Media Factory?

Srinidhi: I feel truly lucky to have worked with such a passionate production house. People Media Factory always backs content-driven, high-quality cinema, and they gave us incredible support throughout this project. I learned so much personally and professionally during this film.

Q: You speak Telugu really well!

Srinidhi: (Smiles) Thank you! I’ve always loved the Telugu language. During my college days, I had many Telugu friends, so I naturally picked it up over time. I make sure to practice whenever I can.

Q: There’s a rumor that you’re part of Venkatesh and Trivikram’s next film. Is that true?

Srinidhi: (Laughs) I’ve heard that too! But honestly, I haven’t been approached yet. I’d absolutely love to work with Trivikram sir and Venkatesh sir someday. Let’s wait and see — the producers will reveal who the heroine is at the right time!

With her refreshing screen presence, sincerity, and charm, Srinidhi Shetty is ready to win hearts again with Telusu Kada — a romantic entertainer that promises laughter, emotions, and music to remember.
