Global Star Ram Charan is sparing no effort for his much-awaited Pan-India spectacle Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. From sporting striking makeovers to undergoing a powerful physical transformation and rigorous training, Ram Charan is fully committed to embodying this role. Prestigiously produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru’s Vriddhi Cinemas and proudly presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Peddi is being mounted on a massive scale with sky-high expectations. The first look, title glimpse, and makeover images of Ram Charan have already created tremendous buzz among fans and cinephiles.
The team has now begun filming a grand introductory song on Ram Charan in Mysore, choreographed by the popular Jani Master. Academy Award-winning composer A.R. Rahman has scored a pulsating mass number for the actor’s entry sequence. Shot with over 1000 dancers, the song is being picturized on an epic scale and promises to be a visual extravaganza. With Ram Charan performing high-energy mass steps, blending grace with his trademark screen presence, this song is set to become one of the major highlights of the film.
Even as the country celebrates Vinayaka Chavithi, the Peddi team continues to work tirelessly. Their dedication during the festive season reflects the passion driving this ambitious project.
The film features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading lady, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role, and seasoned actors Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma in key supporting roles. Behind the lens is renowned cinematographer R. Rathnavelu, while National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli handles the edit.
Peddi is scheduled for a Pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026.
