R.V.V. Satyanarayana Welcomes First Passenger at Bhogapuram Airport
The much-awaited Bhogapuram International Airport, envisioned as a major gateway to North Andhra, was inaugurated with grandeur on August 17. The historic occasion witnessed a unique and memorable welcome for the airport’s first international passenger, with actor R.V.V. Satyanarayana making a special appearance as legendary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju.
R.V.V. Satyanarayana, who portrayed Alluri Sitarama Raju in the film ‘Manyam Dheerudu’, attended the inaugural celebrations dressed in the same iconic look from the movie. His powerful appearance as the legendary revolutionary hero and his warm welcome to the first international passenger became one of the highlights of the event.
The actor’s presence in the traditional Alluri Sitarama Raju attire attracted considerable attention among passengers, airport staff and visitors. Many enthusiastically took photographs and selfies with the actor, making the occasion even more memorable.
Speaking to the media, R.V.V. Satyanarayana expressed his happiness and pride at being invited to be part of the historic inauguration.
“It is a matter of immense pride for me to be specially invited to the inauguration of Bhogapuram Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport, which stands as a landmark for North Andhra. Welcoming the first passenger on the soil of Alluri Sitarama Raju in the same attire that I wore while portraying him in my film is an unforgettable experience in my life. I sincerely thank the airport management and officials for recognising and honouring me as an actor and giving me the opportunity to be part of this historic occasion,” he said.
The actor also spoke about the response to his film ‘Manyam Dheerudu’, which is currently streaming on the popular OTT platform Aha. The film, inspired by the life and spirit of Alluri Sitarama Raju, has been receiving appreciation from audiences.
R.V.V. Satyanarayana thanked Telugu audiences for supporting the film and encouraged viewers to watch it with their families.
The actor’s appearance as Alluri Sitarama Raju at the inauguration added a special patriotic touch to the historic event.
