Sahu Garapati:
We received a very positive censor report. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the film. It’s a clean movie with full family fun. The censor board clearly mentioned that it’s a film audiences can enjoy with children and family members.
How has the response been after the trailer release, considering two big stars are coming together?
Sahu Garapati:
Fans of both stars are enjoying it immensely. The response on social media has been outstanding. Chiranjeevi garu and Venkatesh garu worked together with great happiness and mutual respect.
Sushmita garu, this is a massive project. How was the journey?
Sushmita Konidela:
This is truly a milestone project for us, and we feel honored to be part of it. Working in my father’s core genre and having Anil garu handle it so beautifully is superb. The journey with Sahu garu has been wonderful. We enjoyed every phase of this project, and I sincerely wish this combination continues in the future.
This film feels like it has opened a new talent box for my father. Fans are comparing his charm to Rowdy Alludu. While it reminds you of his vintage charisma, his performance feels completely fresh.
About Chiranjeevi garu’s look and styling?
Sushmita Konidela:
He focused a lot on fitness and weight reduction, and he looks incredibly charming. Designing costumes for him became easier because of that. Anil garu had a clear vision on how to present him, and Chiranjeevi garu himself contributed many creative inputs. We all worked with a unified vision.
With many films releasing during Sankranti, is there any concern about theatres?
Sahu Garapati:
We have strong running distributors, and our film has been positioned well in advance for Sankranti. When many films release, losing one or two theatres is natural, but we don’t see any major theatre issues for our film.
What can we expect from Venkatesh garu’s role?
Sushmita Konidela:
Venkatesh garu appears in a very impactful and entertaining role. Once he enters, the fun quotient rises significantly. It’s a rich, highly entertaining character with great importance in the story.
How is Chiranjeevi garu’s character designed?
Sahu Garapati:
The trailer only gives a glimpse of the shades of his character. His role has fun, action, emotion, and all commercial elements. The comedy scenes between Chiranjeevi garu and Venkatesh garu are outstanding. What you saw in the trailer is just a sample. The film offers much more. Calling it just a Sankranti treat would be an understatement—I’ve watched the film, and it’s truly wonderful.
Every scene will leave a smile on the audience’s faces. Along with fun and comedy, family emotions are portrayed very realistically.
When will we see Chiranjeevi garu actively promoting the film?
Sahu Garapati:
Promotions are happening aggressively across all regions, with Anil garu leading them at full speed. Chiranjeevi garu is currently busy with post-production and dubbing work, which will wrap up very soon. Both Chiranjeevi garu and Venkatesh garu will attend the pre-release event, after which they’ll be fully involved in promotions.

Sahu Garapati:
There’s a special song where audiences will get to see vintage Chiranjeevi garu. We also recently had a wonderful video interaction with overseas audiences.
Who came up with the title Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu?
Sahu Garapati:
It was Anil garu’s idea. He wanted the title to stay focused on the character, so he felt using the original name would be perfect.
Sushmita garu, Chiranjeevi garu is an inspiration to many. What have you learned from him?
Sushmita Konidela:
If you truly want to learn, you can learn something from him every single day. During this film’s journey, I learned that once you start something, you must dedicate your life to it and work with complete honesty and hard work.
At home, he’s very fun-loving with all of us. But once he steps onto the set, his entire focus is on the character. Even today, his preparation feels like that of a first-timer.
When can we expect a film with your uncle?
Sushmita Konidela (laughs):
I’m waiting for that god-gifted opportunity. I’ve asked, I’m in line, and I’m eagerly waiting for the chance.
Thoughts on Bheems’ music?
Sahu Garapati:
The music is fantastic. The songs have already become big hits, and the background score is equally powerful.

Cinematographer Sameer Reddy has delivered stunning visuals—they look fantastic on screen.

Sahu Garapati:

Sahu Garapati:
