Sabdham will be a very special movie in my career like “Vaishali”: Hero Aadi Pinisetty
Hero Aadi Pinisetty, who delivered a super hit with “Vaishali,” has once again teamed up with director Arivazhagan for another interesting supernatural crime thriller, “Sabdham.” The film is produced by 7G Films and Shiva. Simran, Laila, and Lakshmi Menon play key roles. The promotional content released so far has generated a good response and increased curiosity about the film. “Sabdham” is set to release on February 28 in Andhra through N Cinemas and in Nizam through Maitri Distribution. On this occasion, hero Aadi Pinisetty shared some details about the film in a press meeting.
How different will “Sabdham” be from other horror films?
“Sound” is a film with strong storytelling and emotions in the horror genre. It will be very different from regular horror films. The way spirits are investigated using scientific methods offers a very unique experience. The screenplay is very interesting. Making films like this is also challenging. No one has shown such a world before. Just as “Vaishali” was a different horror film, “Sound” will also be equally unique and special. Technically, the film will be very rich.
What is the role of Sabdham in “Sound”?
In this movie, I play the character of a paranormal investigator. He detects spirits using sound. Sabdham plays an important role in every scene. Honestly, I don’t believe in spirits, but while reading the material for this movie, I started to wonder if such unseen powers might exist.
About director Arivazhagan?
I want to thank our director, Arivazhagan. “Vaishali” now feels very relevant. The honesty in the story is what made it special. We made “Sabdham” with the same honesty. “Vaishali” was also a horror film, and it was a special movie in my career. Similarly, “Sound” is also a special film.

We always wanted to work together. A new concept, like “Vaishali,” had to be found, and we managed to achieve that with “Sound.” It will make you want to watch the movie in theaters. It offers a great experience.
About the characters of Simran and Laila?
I learned a lot from Simran and Laila. Their roles are very crucial in the film. Their characters feel very fresh.
What did Nani say after watching the movie?
I showed the film to Nani first in Telugu. He really likes the horror genre and he loved it. He said it was “heartfelt” and very good. Having a star like Nani for such films is very important. His presence at our pre-release event was a huge help for us.
Do you like horror films?
I like horror films with a good story and screenplay. I am keen on doing films in this genre.
About Thaman’s music?
Music is very important for films like this. Thaman’s music added a great value to our film. Even though he works on big films, he created the music for ours, and he did it in an extraordinary way. You’ll really enjoy the music while watching the film.
The technical team did an excellent job for this movie. The sound design is fantastic. Cinematographer Arun gave beautiful visuals, and the artwork is mesmerizing. Every craft in the film was done with great care and love.
How do you feel about Maitri Movie Makers and N Cinemas releasing the film in Telugu?
We are very happy. They really liked our film. We consider ourselves lucky that they agreed to take it on. Their involvement in the release is a big plus for us.
About the current projects you’re working on?
I’m doing a role in “Akhanda 2.” I’m also working on “Mayasabha” under the direction of Devakatta. Additionally, I’m working on a movie called “Drive.” The shooting of “Marakathamani 2” is also ongoing.
