Bhogi Gears Up for High-Octane Action Schedule in Rajahmundry
Charming Star Sharwanand is riding high on back-to-back successes and is now gearing up for a hat-trick with “Bhogi,” an ambitious pan-India period action drama. The film marks the first-ever collaboration between Sharwanand and mass filmmaker Sampath Nandi, known for his high-energy storytelling and commercial entertainers.
Produced on a grand scale by K. K. Radhamohan under the prestigious Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Lakshmi Radhamohan, “Bhogi” is shaping up to be one of the most significant and high-budget ventures in Sharwanand’s career.
After generating strong buzz with its intriguing first-look poster, the film has now entered a crucial phase of production with a massive new shooting schedule underway in Rajahmundry. This extensive schedule will take place in the rugged terrains of the Rampachodavaram forest region, where the team is set to film a series of intense and meticulously choreographed action sequences.
Renowned action choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan is overseeing these sequences, promising a raw, realistic, and adrenaline-pumping cinematic experience. Sharwanand, along with key members of the cast, is actively participating in this demanding schedule, which is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping the film’s narrative.
Carrying the striking tagline “A Blood Fest,” “Bhogi” presents Sharwanand in a never-seen-before avatar. His rugged, intense transformation has already created significant excitement among fans and industry circles alike.
Director Sampath Nandi is crafting the film against a gritty period backdrop set along the North Telangana–Maharashtra border during the late 1960s. With its rooted storytelling, powerful emotions, and intense action, the film aims to deliver a compelling blend of realism and mass appeal.
The film features Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, supported by a strong ensemble cast in key roles.
On the technical front, “Bhogi” boasts a highly talented crew, including production designer Kiran Kumar Manne, cinematographer Kishore Kumar Arokia, and music composer Bheems Ceciroleo.
Mounted as a true pan-India project, “Bhogi” is set to deliver a powerful cinematic experience. The film is slated for a grand theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on August 28, 2026, coinciding with the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
