Mana Panel Scores Major Victory in Telugu Film Producers Council Elections 2026
The Mana Panel has registered a sweeping victory in the Telugu Film Producers Council (TFPC) Elections 2026, securing a strong majority across several key positions and the Executive Committee.
Producer C. Kalyan of the Mana Panel was elected President unopposed, while Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao was elected Treasurer.
Mohan Vadlapatla from the Mana Panel and Damodara Prasad from the Progressive Panel were elected as Vice Presidents. The Joint Secretary positions were secured by Ammi Raju and Thummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana, both representing the Mana Panel.
In the Executive Committee, three candidates from the Progressive Panel—Maitri Ravi, Niranjan Reddy and D.S. Rao—were elected. The Mana Panel secured 12 seats, with Padmini, Asian Sunil, Mohan Goud, Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, Danayya, Vamsi Nandipati, Palli Kesava Rao, Srinivasa Rao, Pullarao, Bapiraju, R.K. Goud and Nayeem emerging victorious.
The result for the Secretary post has been kept confidential as the matter is currently pending before the court. Election Officer Durga Prasad will seal the result in a cover and submit it to the court. The result is scheduled to be opened and officially announced in the presence of the judge on September 8.
C. Kalyan Thanks Producers and Media
Speaking after the victory, President-elect C. Kalyan thanked the media, voters and everyone who supported the Mana Panel.
“First of all, I thank all the media members who supported us. I also thank everyone who travelled from far away to come and vote for us. Thank you for giving our panel members a victory with a 95% majority.
“We have come here to do good for the industry and to work for the welfare of producers. The Telugu film industry is doing well compared to other industries, and we request everyone to cooperate with us.
“We will soon hold a press meet and announce our action plan. We will stand by small producers and support them in every possible way. I would especially like to thank Bandla Ganesh for his support,” C. Kalyan said.
The votes received by the winning candidates were also announced, and the elected members were congratulated on their victory. The Secretary election result will be formally announced by the court following the ongoing legal proceedings.
Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao Promises Support for Small Producers
Treasurer-elect Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao thanked the voters for giving the Mana Panel a strong mandate.
“I thank all the voters who gave us a good majority. I would also like to specially thank the Nandamuri family and Sunil Narang for their support.
“Our panel has several experienced members. We will make use of their experience to take the Telugu film industry to greater heights. We will also stand by and support small producers,” he said.
Tummala Prasanna Kumar Congratulates the Winners
Tummala Prasanna Kumar thanked the media for its support and congratulated all the newly elected members.
“I thank the media members who supported us. Congratulations to everyone who won. The people who can do good for the industry have won. It is a great thing that strong and capable people have emerged victorious in the Producers Council elections,” he said.
With the Mana Panel securing a clear majority in the 2026 elections, the new leadership is expected to focus on the welfare of producers, particularly the concerns and challenges faced by small and emerging producers.
