Popular Folk Star Kittu Pavan Makes His Acting Debut as Hero
Popular folk star Kittu Pavan, who has won millions of hearts with his Telangana-rooted folk songs and garnered hundreds of millions of views, is all set to make his debut as a lead actor. His upcoming film was officially launched on Saturday in Hyderabad with a grand pooja ceremony.
The film is being jointly produced by Muni Shiva and Shivamalla under the banners of M.S. Varahi Creations and Shivam Media, as their Production No. 3. The film is directed by Dileep Sai Naik.
The inaugural ceremony was held at the Shivam Media office in Madhapur, Hyderabad. Renowned writer and Oscar Award winner Chandrabose, director R.P. Patnaik, National Award winner Satish Vegesna, and Big TV Chairman Vijay Vennam attended the event as chief guests and extended their best wishes to the team.
Satish Vegesna and Bullet Bandi Laxman presented the script to director Dileep Sai Naik. Chandrabose gave the first clap for the film, while R.P. Patnaik performed the honorary direction for the first shot. Big TV Chairman Vijay Vennam switched on the camera and congratulated the entire team.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrabose said, “I know this team very well, and every member of the team is highly talented. Producers Muni Shiva and Shivamalla, Bullet Bandi Laxman, and music director Madin are all very close to me. I sincerely wish them a great success with this film.”

Kittu Pavan has established a strong identity among audiences with his Telangana folk songs, which have received hundreds of millions of views across digital platforms. His transition from a popular folk singer to a lead actor has generated considerable interest among his fans and folk-music audiences.
The film features Madin as the music director, while Janatha Bablu is handling the cinematography. New director Krishnakanth, along with several artists and personalities from the folk music industry, also attended the launch event.
With Kittu Pavan stepping into the lead role and Dileep Sai Naik at the helm, the film is expected to showcase the cultural roots, traditions and earthy flavour of Telangana. Further details regarding the film’s title, cast, technical crew and release date will be announced by the makers soon.
