AAA Cinemas Opens in Vizag with Allu Arjun’s Grand Launch
AAA Cinemas, the premium multiplex brand jointly owned by Asian Cinemas and Icon Star Allu Arjun, has expanded beyond Hyderabad with the grand opening of its new property at Inorbit Mall, Kailasapuram, Visakhapatnam. Allu Arjun himself inaugurated the multiplex on August 9, marking the brand’s first entry into Andhra Pradesh.
The new AAA Cinemas promises to offer a premium movie-going experience with 8 screens and a total seating capacity of around 1,556. The multiplex is equipped with advanced 4K laser projection and Dolby Atmos sound technology, adding a high-end cinematic experience for audiences in Visakhapatnam.
The biggest attraction is the main screen, which features 491 seats. Another major highlight is the massive 70-foot-long and 30-foot-wide LED screen, which is being promoted as the biggest cinema LED screen in Andhra Pradesh.
For premium moviegoers, AAA Cinemas also features an exclusive Icon Star Lounge for recliner and premium ticket holders, complete with a separate entrance. The property further houses the 82 Lounge, designed to host private screenings, film functions, pre-release events and other special occasions. It comes with a dedicated screen and Dolby sound system.
Adding to the fan experience, the multiplex also features a special Allu Arjun statue in his iconic ‘Thaggede Le’ style, making it an instant attraction for his fans.
Ticket prices have been fixed at Rs. 177 for regular seats and Rs. 295 for recliners, although pricing may vary depending on the movie and show timings. Online bookings are currently available through the District by Zomato app. Screen capacities range from 34 seats to 491 seats, giving audiences multiple viewing options.
With eight screens under one roof, AAA Cinemas is positioned as one of the prominent multiplex destinations in Andhra Pradesh in terms of screen count, while its premium technology and large-format presentation are expected to further elevate the movie-going experience in Vizag.
Allu Arjun Gives Update on Raaka
Speaking at the inauguration, Allu Arjun also shared an update on his upcoming film Raaka. The actor revealed that the movie is currently being shot in Mumbai and that he took a one-day break from the shoot specifically to attend the AAA Cinemas launch in Visakhapatnam. He is expected to return to the sets tomorrow.
Allu Arjun also reminisced about his association with Visakhapatnam, recalling his visits to the city during the shooting of his debut film Gangotri. He spoke about the remarkable transformation of Vizag over the years and said he never imagined that a major mall such as Inorbit would eventually come up in the city.
Expressing his happiness over the city’s growth, the actor said the launch of AAA Cinemas marks another important development for Visakhapatnam’s entertainment landscape.
Allu Aravind Thanks Andhra Pradesh Government
Producer Allu Aravind, who was also present at the launch, expressed his gratitude to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, the State Home Minister and Cinematography Minister for their support in bringing the project to Visakhapatnam.
The Inorbit Mall, developed by the K Raheja Corp Group, has been built across approximately 17 acres, featuring around 6 lakh square feet of space with an investment of nearly Rs. 600 crore.
AAA Cinemas Eyes Further Expansion
Following its successful presence in Hyderabad and its latest launch in Visakhapatnam, AAA Cinemas is expected to expand its footprint further across Andhra Pradesh. Vijayawada and Tirupati are among the cities that could potentially witness the brand’s future expansion.
For Visakhapatnam, the opening of AAA Cinemas represents a significant upgrade to the city’s entertainment infrastructure. With eight screens, premium projection and sound technology, a massive LED screen, luxury lounges and the Allu Arjun brand, the new multiplex is set to become one of Vizag’s major cinema destinations.
