Chiranjeevi Hails Ram Charan’s Career-Best Performance in Peddi

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s latest sensation Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkat Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting the film, has emerged as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year. Released worldwide on June 4, the film received unanimous acclaim from audiences and critics alike, shattering box-office records and emerging as the highest-grossing South Indian film of 2026. The film continues its successful theatrical run with packed houses across territories.
To celebrate the film’s extraordinary success, the makers organized the Peddi Mega Blockbuster Event, attended by Megastar Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. The grand event witnessed distributors, exhibitors, and key members of the team being felicitated by Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan with commemorative shields.

Addressing the gathering, Chiranjeevi expressed his gratitude to fans for their unwavering support over the decades and praised the entire team for delivering a cinematic experience that resonated deeply with audiences.
He lauded director Buchi Babu Sana for choosing a powerful, emotional, and motivational story rooted in rural India and bringing it to life with authenticity and conviction. He also credited Sukumar for nurturing a filmmaker capable of presenting such a compelling vision.
Speaking about Ram Charan’s performance, Chiranjeevi said the actor excelled in every aspect—action, dance, emotion, intensity, and character immersion. He compared Peddi to Charan’s landmark performances in films like Magadheera, Rangasthalam, and RRR, stating that the actor had once again delivered a role that would be remembered for years.
“Throughout the film, we never saw Ram Charan; we saw only Peddi. He completely transformed himself into the character, making audiences laugh, cry, cheer, and connect emotionally. That is the mark of a complete actor,” he remarked.

Sharing a personal anecdote, Charan said that his daughter Klin Kaara now calls him “Peddi” instead of “Nanna,” reflecting the cultural impact the film has had on audiences and within his own family.

Producer Satish Kilaru: “The Audience Carried Peddi to Glory”
Producer Venkat Satish Kilaru thanked audiences, distributors, exhibitors, and both Telugu state governments for their support. He noted that despite completing nearly three weeks in theatres, the film continues to draw strong crowds, particularly in single screens and B-C centres.
