Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram & Anil Ravipudi’s Sankranthi Entertainer Launched Grandly
One of the most exciting combinations in recent Telugu cinema is gearing up to entertain audiences during Sankranthi 2027. Victory Venkatesh, Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, and blockbuster director Anil Ravipudi have joined hands for a full-fledged festive entertainer, tentatively referred to as #VenkyAnil5 and #NkrAR2.
The highly anticipated project is being produced by Sahu Garapati under the prestigious Shine Screens banner and is presented by Suresh Productions, Smt. Archana, and Zee Studios. Leading actresses Keerthy Suresh and Krithi Shetty have been roped in as the female leads, adding further star power to the film.
The movie was officially launched today with a grand muhurtham ceremony and pooja event attended by the film’s core team, industry veterans, and several distinguished guests. Marking the auspicious beginning, producers Dil Raju and Shirish handed over the script to director Anil Ravipudi and producer Sahu Garapati.
The launch ceremony witnessed the presence of some of the biggest names in the industry. Veteran producer Allu Aravind gave the ceremonial clap for the first shot featuring Venkatesh, Kalyan Ram, Keerthy Suresh, and Krithi Shetty, while Suresh Babu switched on the camera. Legendary filmmaker K. Raghavendra Rao directed the inaugural shot, making the occasion even more special.
Known for delivering blockbuster family entertainers, Anil Ravipudi is expected to present another wholesome Sankranthi treat packed with his trademark blend of comedy, emotions, and mass appeal. The unique combination of Venkatesh and Kalyan Ram sharing screen space for the first time has already created tremendous excitement among fans and trade circles alike.
Even before the commencement of regular shooting, the film has generated significant buzz thanks to Anil Ravipudi’s consistent success streak, the star-studded cast, and the support of some of Telugu cinema’s most reputed production houses. Expectations are already soaring, with many viewing it as one of the biggest contenders for the Sankranthi 2027 box office season.
The film also boasts a strong technical crew. Acclaimed composer GV Prakash Kumar will score the music, while Sameer Reddy handles cinematography. Editing responsibilities are entrusted to Tammiraju, with AS Prakash serving as the art director. S. Krishna is on board as the executive producer.
The makers are currently finalizing pre-production activities, and the regular shoot is expected to commence shortly.
