Pawan Kalyan’s Hanamkonda Visit Wins Hearts Beyond Politics
Politics in Telangana is rarely short of heat and intensity. However, with the arrival of the monsoon showers, not only has the weather cooled down, but the political atmosphere too appears to have settled. The sharp political exchanges that followed Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan’s press meet in Hyderabad a couple of weeks ago seem to have faded into the background.
What became evident during Pawan Kalyan’s visit to Hanamkonda today is that people, especially his fans, often rise above political differences when it comes to humanity and compassion.
Niranjan, a 17-year-old boy from Hanamkonda, has been battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a rare genetic disorder. Confined to bed for the past few years, he had cherished a single dream—to meet his favorite actor and leader, Pawan Kalyan, at least once in his lifetime.
Upon learning about the young fan’s wish, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan made it a point to visit Niranjan during his trip to Hanamkonda. As he traveled through the city, he received a warm welcome from fans and locals who lined the roads to greet him. Acknowledging their affection, Pawan Kalyan proceeded to Niranjan’s residence and spent valuable time with him and his family.

In a touching moment, Pawan Kalyan reportedly told the teenager, “If I make OG-2, you will be the chief guest at the film’s pre-release event.” The heartfelt gesture left Niranjan overwhelmed with joy. The actor-politician also offered words of encouragement and assured the family of his support.
Pawan Kalyan has often stated that politics should serve as a bridge connecting people and regions rather than dividing them. His visit to Hanamkonda reflected that belief in action. The warm response from the people of Telangana further reinforced the sentiment that compassion transcends political boundaries.
The visit has drawn appreciation from many quarters, not as a political event, but as a humane gesture that brought happiness and hope to a young fan facing a difficult battle.
