Kiran Abbavaram’s Directorial Debut Commences Shoot
After delivering back-to-back blockbusters with KA and K-Ramp, dynamic young star Kiran Abbavaram has firmly cemented his position as one of Telugu cinema’s most exciting and bankable talents. Having already proven his writing prowess with the blockbuster success of SR Kalyanamandapam, Kiran is now ready to take on his biggest creative challenge yet.
In a bold and ambitious move, Kiran Abbavaram will not only headline the project but will also serve as its story writer, screenplay writer, and director, marking a significant milestone in his career. The yet-to-be-titled film is being produced by renowned overseas distributor Sudhakar Chaganti, who makes his debut as a producer under the Joy Films banner. Suresh Yerra joins the venture as co-producer.
Mounted on a lavish scale, the film is being produced with the highest budget of Kiran Abbavaram’s career to date, reflecting the makers’ confidence in the project’s vision and potential.

The makers perfectly encapsulated the film’s spirited essence with the catchy tagline: “Ek Dum Bindass Pakaane Waale.”
Making her Telugu cinema debut, Devika Bhat stars as the female lead opposite Kiran Abbavaram. Veteran actors Sharat Kumar and Sai Kumar play pivotal roles in the film, which is being positioned as a wholesome youthful entertainer infused with strong family emotions. The makers promise a refreshing narrative packed with entertainment, emotions, and mass appeal that will resonate with audiences across all age groups.
The film was formally launched today in Hyderabad with a grand pooja ceremony attended by the cast, crew, and distinguished guests from the industry. Following the auspicious launch, principal photography commenced immediately, with the lead cast participating in the opening schedule.
For his directorial debut, Kiran Abbavaram has developed a high-energy commercial entertainer loaded with crowd-pleasing elements, vibrant characters, and emotionally engaging storytelling. The project is expected to showcase a completely new and transformed side of the actor-filmmaker, both creatively and on screen.
Backing this ambitious venture is a highly talented technical team. Acclaimed cinematographer Viswas Daniel is handling the visuals, while chartbuster composer Bheems Ceciroleo, currently enjoying a phenomenal streak with several successful films, has been brought on board to compose the music. Production design is being overseen by Sudheer Macharla, while Santhosh Naidu takes charge of editing.
