M. M. Keeravaani Launches Soulful ‘Vadhalane’ From Chennai Love Story
Young hero Kiran Abbavaram and talented actress Sri Gouri Priya are coming together for the much-awaited romantic entertainer Chennai Love Story. Backed by successful producers SKN and Sai Rajesh under the banners Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers, the film is directed by Ravi Namburi, while Sai Rajesh has penned the story. Melody Brahma Mani Sharma is composing the music.
After creating strong buzz with its first single, the makers grandly launched the film’s second song, “Vadhalane,” in Hyderabad on Monday. The soulful melody was unveiled by Oscar-winning music director M. M. Keeravaani in the presence of several noted composers from the Telugu film industry.
The event turned into a grand musical celebration with the presence of renowned music directors including Madhavapeddi Suresh, Kalyani Malik, Anup Rubens, Hari Gowra, Mark K Robin, Sinjith Yerramilli, Chaitan Bharadwaj, Sweekar Agasthi, Suresh Bobbili, Vivek Sagar, and Sricharan Pakala.
Speaking at the event, Keeravaani praised the film and said that after watching Baby, he became a fan of Sai Rajesh. He expressed confidence that Chennai Love Story would reach the same emotional standard and emerge as a memorable feel-good entertainer. Appreciating Mani Sharma’s composition, he described “Vadhalane” as a haunting melody that music lovers would cherish for a long time.
Keeravaani further revealed that the film features seven songs and emphasized that music is the soul of every successful love story. He appreciated the fresh chemistry between Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya and wished the entire team huge success.
Several music directors who attended the event showered praise on Mani Sharma’s music and the emotional depth of the song. They described “Vadhalane” as a magical melody with long-lasting impact and expressed confidence that the album would become one of the biggest musical highlights of the year.
Music directors Sweekar Agasthi, Anup Rubens, Mark K Robin, Vivek Sagar, Chaitan Bharadwaj, Hari Gowra, and others spoke emotionally about Mani Sharma’s influence on their musical journeys and lauded the makers for bringing back pure melody-driven music.
Cinematographer Daniel Viswas revealed that the visuals for the song were heavily inspired by Mani Sharma’s composition and promised that the emotional experience in theatres would be far more intense than what audiences witnessed in the lyrical video.
Director Ravi Namburi expressed gratitude to Mani Sharma, lyricist Anantha Sriram, and producers SKN and Sai Rajesh for supporting his vision. He described “Vadhalane” as the best song of his career.
Producer Sai Rajesh shared that he specifically requested Mani Sharma to compose seven melodious songs for the film, saying audiences had been missing vintage Mani Sharma melodies in recent years. He added that “Vadhalane” is the kind of song that slowly grows on listeners and stays with them forever.
Hero Kiran Abbavaram said the song was filmed near a beautiful temple in Pondicherry and revealed that the emotional narration by director Ravi left everyone in tears during the shoot. He confidently stated that one particular visual in the song would become an iconic moment in Telugu cinema.
Actress Sri Gouri Priya said working in a Mani Sharma musical felt like a dream come true and described the film as a deeply emotional and music-oriented love story.
With powerful emotional content, soulful melodies, and an impressive creative team, Chennai Love Story is already generating massive expectations among movie lovers and music enthusiasts alike.
