‘I Am Game’, the upcoming film starring Dulquer Salmaan, is fast emerging as one of the most anticipated projects in Malayalam cinema. Shot extensively across more than 100 locations in South India, the film has now wrapped up production and is currently progressing through post-production.
Adding to the excitement, Dulquer Salmaan himself has revealed that I Am Game will be the most stylish film of his career to date. The actor shared that both his character and the film’s universe have been crafted with a strong modern and sleek aesthetic. Director Nahas Hidayath envisioned presenting Dulquer in a completely new, stylish avatar—an idea that has become one of the film’s standout elements.
Helmed by Nahas Hidayath, the big-budget action thriller is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release in August 2026. Mounted on a massive scale, the film is being described as the most ambitious project in Dulquer Salmaan’s career and is expected to be one of the biggest Malayalam releases of the year. It is produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films. The screenplay is penned by Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran. Notably, the film follows the massive success of Wayfarer Films’ previous blockbuster Lokah.
Dulquer also highlighted that while many of his recent roles leaned towards vintage and retro styles, I Am Game marks a refreshing departure. In this film, audiences will see him in a stylish, high-energy mass-action avatar like never before. The project also marks the next directorial venture of Nahas Hidayath after the blockbuster RDX. Interestingly, I Am Game is Dulquer Salmaan’s milestone 40th film and is being positioned as a grand pan-Indian action entertainer.
The film boasts a powerful ensemble cast featuring Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in key roles. The film’s music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while high-octane action sequences are choreographed by the renowned stunt duo Anbariv.
The recently released first-look and second-look posters have already created significant buzz, raising expectations among fans and trade circles alike. I Am Game will hit theatres as a pan-Indian release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
