‘Aaya Sher’ from The Paradise Impresses with Grand Slum Sets

The recently released song Aaya Sher from the much-anticipated film The Paradise has turned into a sensational hit, clocking millions of views across multiple languages and dominating social media with countless Instagram Reels recreations. The song’s electrifying energy and powerful visuals have caught the attention of audiences everywhere, and a major reason behind its striking impact lies in the massive sets meticulously created for the sequence.

Ever since the teaser of The Paradise was unveiled, the film has been generating tremendous buzz. The teaser garnered an overwhelming response from viewers and quickly amassed huge views online, sparking intense discussions across social media platforms. With expectations steadily rising, the film has now emerged as one of the most awaited releases of the year.

The Aaya Sher song stands out not only for its raw energy but also for the larger-than-life world crafted by the film’s art department. To bring the vision to life, the makers constructed a sprawling slum-empire set where the hero is portrayed as the undisputed ruler of the streets.

One of the most impressive structures created for the song is the Hero House (Kaman Set)—a towering construction measuring 60 feet in width, 45 feet in height, and 25 feet in depth. Initially planned with a width of 30 feet, the set was later expanded by an additional 15 feet on either side to achieve the final scale. Around 25 workers spent nearly 20 days building this imposing structure, using specialized aging techniques to ensure the set seamlessly blended with the gritty environment of the slum landscape.

Another visually striking highlight is a giant biryani bowl–inspired structure, designed with a distinctive copper finish and weathered textures to create an authentic rustic look. The unique setup measures 10 feet in width, with a 20-foot radius and a height of 6 feet, and was completed in just five days by a team of 5 to 7 craftsmen.

Adding even greater scale to the production is the Water Body Village Set, an expansive setup spread across 2.5 acres. Instead of using dummy structures, the makers built 60 fully functional houses, creating a realistic village environment capable of accommodating around 500 people simultaneously. Nearly 50 workers worked for 30 days to construct the village. To create the water body within the set, 100 water tankers were transported to the location, taking seven days to fill the area. Additionally, a 20 ft × 20 ft pond with a depth of 20 feet was constructed to store water.

The production team also developed a massive dump yard set, measuring 120 feet in length, 50 feet in width, and 30 feet in height. Built over 30 days by a 25-member team, the design was carefully crafted to replicate the authentic look and feel of a real dump yard, giving the environment a raw, lived-in atmosphere.

What makes these large-scale sets even more impressive is the fact that they were constructed without disturbing the natural surroundings. The art department paid special attention to integrating every structure organically into the landscape, using natural textures and detailed aging techniques to enhance realism.

Each set was meticulously planned and executed only after obtaining the necessary approvals, ensuring both creative precision and smooth production workflow.

The result is the immersive and visually grand world showcased in the song Aaya Sher—offering audiences an exciting glimpse into the intense, gritty, and spectacular cinematic universe that The Paradise promises to bring to the big screen.
