‘Nilave’ Is the ‘Geethanjali’ of the Present Generation: Actor Gemini Suresh
For Us, ‘Nilave’ Is Like ‘Baahubali’: Hero Soumith Poladi
Starring Soumith Poladi as the lead, Nilave is directed jointly by Soumith Poladi and Sai K Vennam. Shreyasi Sen plays the female lead, while Harsha Chemudu and Supriya Isola appear as another pair. The film is produced by Raj Allada, Giridhar Rao Poladi, and Sai K Vennam under the POV Arts Productions banner.
Released on February 13 as a Valentine’s Day special, Nilave received an excellent response from audiences and emerged as one of the biggest musical love dramas to win widespread appreciation. To celebrate the film’s success, a grand success meet was held on Tuesday at Ramanaidu Studios. Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose shared his congratulatory message through a video byte, praising the team for delivering a major musical hit.
Speaking as the chief guest at the success meet, director V. Samudra said,
“Among the several films released this Valentine’s Day, Nilave stood out with positive talk. With decent collections, it has emerged as a silent hit. The hero and heroine of this film will definitely become future superstars. My congratulations to director Sai K Vennam and the entire team.”
Actor Gemini Suresh, who attended as a special guest, shared,
“After a long time, I felt I watched a truly good film. Like a painting by Bapu garu, like poetry by Viswanath Satyanarayana garu, Nilave feels like the ‘Geethanjali’ of today’s generation. Thanks to producer Raj Allada for backing such a beautiful film. Sai’s vision, Dilip’s visuals, and Kalyan’s music came together wonderfully. Our Karimnagar boy Soumith has scored a hit with this film.”
Hero Soumith Poladi said,
“Thank you to everyone who supported us despite us being newcomers. This film is the result of three years of hard work. Even Rajamouli garu took three years to bring Baahubali to audiences. For us, Nilave is nothing short of Baahubali. Despite many challenges, we never compromised on quality. The audience response has been overwhelming, and seeing houseful boards for four consecutive days fills us with happiness. This film has truly become a genuine hit.”
Heroine Shreyasi Sen said,
“I thank Soumith for trusting me with the role of Preethi. I’m grateful to Telugu audiences for giving me success with my very first film.”
Director Sai K Vennam shared,
“Thank you to everyone who blessed us. This journey started three years ago and has brought us here today. I learned many things during this film’s making. This movie taught me that when intentions are pure, everything falls into place. I would like to tell new filmmakers that understanding why you want to make a film is crucial. Our strong purpose brought us this far, and this success belongs to the entire team.”
Producer Raj Allada’s wife Madhuri said,
“We are extremely happy with the love our film is receiving. Viewers are saying it doesn’t feel like a film made by newcomers. Music has been a huge plus, and the film truly touches the heart.”
Music director Kalyan Nayak said,
“I am very happy with the success given by the audience. It feels like our hard work has finally paid off.”
Producer Raj Allada added,
“The response has been very encouraging. It’s a beautiful musical love story, and despite being newcomers, everyone performed exceptionally well. The hero-cum-director immersed himself fully into the role. I sincerely thank all the actors and technical crew involved in the film.”
Others including Anuradha (R & A Travels), Anil Kadiyala, and actor Roopesh also spoke at the event, expressing gratitude to audiences for turning their small film into a big success.
