Introducing Priya Bhavani Shankar as Kaveri: Enchanting First Look Poster from Ravi Teja’s Irumudi Unveiled
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has joined hands with acclaimed filmmaker Shiva Nirvana for his landmark 77th film, Irumudi, sparking tremendous excitement among audiences and the industry alike. Backed by the prestigious pan-Indian banner Mythri Movie Makers, the project promises a refreshing blend of emotion and commercial appeal.
Earlier, on the occasion of Ravi Teja’s birthday, the makers unveiled the film’s title and first-look poster, which received a highly enthusiastic response. Continuing the buzz, the team released the first-look poster of leading lady Priya Bhavani Shankar today, marking the auspicious festival of Maha Shivaratri.
The poster introduces Priya Bhavani Shankar as Kaveri, radiating warmth and innocence. Ravi Teja is seen leaning in affectionately to kiss her cheek, sporting a rugged makeover with tousled hair, a full beard, and a casual striped shirt that perfectly captures rustic village charm. His relaxed yet playful expression beautifully conveys the intimacy between the characters.
Priya Bhavani Shankar, dressed in a traditional maroon saree, looks graceful and joyful with her natural smile. Her neatly tied hair adorned with flowers and minimal jewelry enhances the authentic rural aesthetic. Set against a wooden cart stacked with bananas, the poster’s earthy colour palette and soft lighting evoke a heartfelt, village-rooted love story steeped in simplicity and emotional warmth.
Director Shiva Nirvana has crafted a stirring narrative that seamlessly blends emotional depth, intense drama, and commercial elements. At the heart of Irumudi lies a deeply touching father–daughter relationship, presenting Ravi Teja in a refreshingly layered role—one that marks a significant departure from his recent films and demands a striking emotional transformation.
Every character in the film has been thoughtfully written to enrich the story’s emotional core. Baby Nakshathra plays Ravi Teja’s daughter, while the supporting cast includes Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, Ramesh Indira, and Swasika in pivotal roles.
Produced on a grand scale by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, the film boasts strong technical credentials. Music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with Vishnu Sarma handling cinematography, Sahi Suresh overseeing production design, and Prawin Pudi in charge of editing. Shiva Nirvana has penned the story, screenplay, and dialogues, with Naresh Babu P coordinating the script work.
Irumudi is currently progressing at a brisk pace, with shooting moving smoothly and expectations soaring for this emotionally rich cinematic experience.
