“Couple Friendly Will Be One of the Most Memorable Films of My Career” – Santosh Shobhan at Trailer Launch
The trailer launch of the upcoming romantic musical Couple Friendly was held in a grand manner today in Hyderabad, with the film’s team sharing heartfelt insights about the project. Starring Santosh Shobhan in the lead role and Manasa Varanasi as the female lead, the film is presented by the reputed banner UV Creations and produced under UV Concepts. Ajay Kumar Raju P. serves as the co-producer, while the film is directed by Ashwin Chandrasekhar.
Touted as a youthful musical love story, Couple Friendly is slated for a Valentine’s Day release on February 14 in both Telugu and Tamil. Passionate producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni is releasing the film across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Manasa Varanasi: “Mithra Is Very Close to My Heart”
Speaking at the event, Manasa Varanasi said she felt deeply connected to her character Mithra.
“I’m very happy to have received such a beautiful role. Mithra believes in taking action without hesitation, and I relate to her strongly. She doesn’t overthink or doubt herself, and that made the character special for me.”
Describing the film, she added,
“Couple Friendly is like a roller-coaster ride—a fresh, youthful love story set against the backdrop of Chennai. We shot guerrilla-style across many real locations, which added a lot of authenticity.”
Praising her co-star, she said Santosh Shobhan’s dedication inspired her, while also appreciating music director Aditya, whose songs have already become chartbusters.

Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar: “Honesty Is the Soul of This Film”
Director Ashwin Chandrasekhar expressed confidence that audiences would connect with the film’s sincerity.
“Couple Friendly is an honest attempt by a sincere team. Santosh Shobhan watched my short films, and after reading the script, he immediately agreed to do the film.”
He revealed that Chennai plays a vital role in the narrative.
“While writing the story, I treated not just Shiva and Mithra but also the city of Chennai as an important character. I’m confident audiences will feel the honesty behind this film.”

Producer and distributor Dheeraj Mogilineni spoke emotionally about his association with the film.
