Introducing Shruti Haasan from Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Aakasamlo Oka Tara’; First Look Unveiled on Her Birthday
The versatile star Dulquer Salmaan, who continues to scale new heights with back-to-back blockbusters and growing Pan-India stardom, is all set to headline another compelling drama titled Aakasamlo Oka Tara. Directed by Pavan Sadineni, known for his inventive storytelling and distinct visual sensibilities, the film is presented by the prestigious banners Geetha Arts and Swapna Cinema, and produced by Sandeep Gunnam and Ramya Gunnam.
The project has already generated considerable buzz with its earlier promotional material, raising expectations for an emotionally engaging narrative. Satvika Veeravalli, making her debut, plays the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan.
Adding to the excitement, the makers have now revealed a major surprise by introducing Shruti Haasan in a crucial role. Coinciding with her birthday, the team unveiled her striking first-look poster. Shruti appears in an intense and raw avatar, sporting glasses and a calm yet piercing downward gaze that exudes quiet strength. The cigarette in her hand, with smoke curling around her face, lends a gritty, layered texture to her character, hinting at deep emotional conflicts and untold stories.
According to the team, Shruti Haasan’s character plays a decisive role in shaping the narrative, with her entry marking a significant turning point in the film. Her powerful screen presence is expected to add gravitas and a fresh dynamic to the story.
On the technical front, Aakasamlo Oka Tara boasts a strong crew, with GV Prakash Kumar composing the music, Sujith Sarang handling cinematography, and Shwetha Sabu Cyril overseeing production design.
Currently in the final stages of production, the film is gearing up for a grand Pan-India theatrical release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam in summer 2026.
