Suriya, Nazriya Nazim & Jithu Madhavan’s Suriya47 Launched Grandly — Filming Begins with Traditional Pooja Ceremony
Kollywood superstar Suriya, who is currently juggling multiple high-profile projects, is teaming up with acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Jithu Madhavan of Aavesham fame for his 47th film, tentatively titled #Suriya47. Ever since news of this collaboration emerged, the project has stood out as one of the year’s most awaited announcements, sparking tremendous buzz among fans and film circles. The film stars Nazriya Nazim as the female lead, with emerging talent Naslen, known for his impressive streak of successful performances, in a pivotal role. The project is being produced by Zhagaram Studios.
Suriya47 was officially launched today in Chennai with a traditional pooja ceremony, marking a powerful start to this exciting new collaboration. The event was attended by the film’s cast, crew, and several well-wishers from the industry.
Gracing the ceremony were prominent guests including producer Mrs. Jyotika, actor Karthi, Rajsekar Pandian of 2D Entertainment, and producers S.R. Prakash and S.R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures, among others. They extended their warm wishes to the team, adding to the positive atmosphere surrounding the project.

On the technical front, Vineeth Unni Palode handles cinematography, Sushin Shyam composes the music, Ashwini Kale oversees production design, and Ajmal Sabu takes charge of editing. Renowned action director Chetan D Souza is onboard as the stunt master.
With filming now underway, audiences can expect more exciting updates from the sets of Suriya47 in the coming weeks.
