Produced by Raja and Pawan Bandreddy, the poster showcases Payal Rajput in an unsettling and intense setup—hanging upside down in what appears to be a dark prison cell. Chains bind her hands, while a blood-stained mangalsutra rests on the floor beneath her. The eerie ambience, blood traces, and haunting stillness amplify the suspense, offering a chilling glimpse into the world of Venkatalachimmi. The makers also teased fans with the message: “First Look & Glimpse Coming Soon,” promising more impactful updates ahead.
Director Muni revealed that the film revolves around the revenge-driven journey of an Adivasi woman, packed with intense emotions and gripping drama. Payal Rajput said she was deeply touched by the narrative and expressed confidence that her portrayal in this film might even make audiences start calling her “Venkatalachimmi” after witnessing the emotional depth and power of the character.
Venkatalachimmi is being made as a pan-India project, releasing in six languages.
