Completing 26 years in the industry is a testament to his enduring vision and fearless filmmaking style.
On this special occasion, Vijay Sethupathi took to social media to pen a heartfelt note, praising his director:
“What a journey it has been for this man 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 26 years in cinema is not just a milestone; it’s a legacy built with courage, conviction, and a fearless voice. Dear Puri sir, it was an absolute pleasure working with you on #SLUMDOG – 33 Temple Road. The film features Samyuktha as the female lead, alongside powerhouse performers Tabu and Duniya Vijay in pivotal roles. The supporting cast includes Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh, adding further depth to the narrative.
Music for Slum Dog is composed by National Award-winning talent Harshavardhan Rameshwar, celebrated for his powerful background scores in films like Arjun Reddy and Animal.
With post-production in full swing, Slum Dog is gearing up for a grand pan-India release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. The makers are expected to kick off an aggressive promotional campaign following the conclusion of the Tamil Nadu elections, setting the stage for what promises to be a gripping cinematic experience.
