“Seetha Payanam” Teaser is Beautiful; The Film Must Become a Huge Success: Sensational Director Sukumar at the Teaser Launch Event

The latest project “Seetha Payanam” is being directed by the multi-talented Arjun Sarja and produced by Sri Ram Films International. The film stars Aishwarya Arjun in the lead role, with Niranjan, Sathyaraj, Prakash Raj, and Kovai Sarala playing key characters. Arjun and Dhruva Sarja have taken on powerful roles in the film. The posters released earlier have already created a strong buzz. Today, the makers launched the teaser. Sensational director Sukumar and Real Star Upendra were the chief guests at the teaser launch event.
Director Sukumar at the Teaser Launch:
“Greetings to everyone. I’m feeling a bit nervous today—there are two legends here who are not only actors but also directors. I saw Arjun garu during my days as an assistant director. Anyone who sees him would admire him—he is so cool and composed, and still remains the same. It’s an honor to share the stage with him. I understand the emotion of making a movie for one’s daughter—this journey could itself be a film. I truly wish this film becomes a big hit for him.
Upendra garu made cult classics like Om and A. Any director could retire after making such films. If I had made even one of them, I might have called it a career. I learned screenplay by watching his films. He always surprises the audience. He’s a great inspiration. I heard one of the songs—it was so beautiful, I could tell it was written by Chandrabose garu. Anup Rubens has done a great job with the music. The choreography for the song is fantastic—Srushti composed 80% of the movements for the “Sooseki” song. Niranjan and Aishwarya looked beautiful in the teaser. The songs and fights are also well done. I sincerely hope Seetha Payanam becomes a huge hit.”

“Greetings to all. Arjun garu is truly the Action King, like a Bruce Lee of India. He had a craze in Kannada, and quickly made a mark in Tamil cinema too—he was already a pan-Indian star. When I was in college, he gave me a chance to write dialogues. I’m proud to now share the stage with him. Back then, he gave me an opportunity, and now he’s doing the same for his brother’s son. The teaser is very beautiful. I’m a huge fan of Sukumar garu—many directors are. He’s the one who showed how to make offbeat subjects commercially viable. It’s a joy to see him here. When Arjun garu narrated this story to me, I felt like I’d already seen the film—that’s how beautifully he told it. The teaser is wonderful, and Dhruva’s entry at the end gave me chills. I’m sure the movie will be a big hit.”

I’m truly happy to have two of my favorite directors as chief guests. During the shoot of Hanuman Junction, I noticed a passionate associate director—that was none other than Sukumar garu. Today, he’s grown into a giant tree, one of the top directors in India. Every movie of his is a milestone, and I’ll never forget his presence at this event.
As for Upendra garu, I met him when we were looking for a sharp dialogue writer for a Kannada film. He looked like Mithun Chakraborty back then. He later went on to direct extraordinary films with unique titles and concepts—even top directors are his fans. I started this film for my daughter after seeing her talent and hard work. I believe audiences will love this movie. I can never forget the love Telugu audiences showed me, and I wish they bless my daughter in the same way.
Niranjan plays a very versatile character. Though I initially wrote this story for my daughter, the hero’s character was elevated beautifully. Niranjan, who is Upendra’s brother’s son, has acted brilliantly. He’s a great fighter and dancer with immense dedication. Sathyaraj and Prakash Raj also delivered exceptional performances. Anup Rubens gave us a brilliant album, and working with Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose garu was magical—his words mesmerized me. Lyricist Kasarla Shyam wrote three excellent songs. Choreographer Srushti Varma did a great job. There are four fights in the film, all of which you’ll enjoy.
I initially narrated this story to Chiranjeevi garu—he really liked it. Pawan Kalyan garu also came to the film’s pooja ceremony, which was completely unexpected and something I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone.”
