Pawan Kalyan Launches Chiranjeevi-Bobby’s Mega Film #ChiruBobby2
Whenever Megastar Chiranjeevi joins hands with blockbuster filmmaker Bobby Kolli, expectations automatically soar to the next level. After delivering the massive commercial success Waltair Veerayya, the sensational duo is back with another highly anticipated entertainer, tentatively titled #ChiruBobby2 / #Chiru158. The film is being mounted on a grand scale by producer Venkat K Narayana under the prestigious KVN Productions banner.
The project also marks the Telugu debut of KVN Productions, a banner known for backing several successful and high-budget films across Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi cinema. Ever since the announcement, the film has been creating tremendous excitement among fans and the trade alike.
The movie was officially launched today with a lavish pooja ceremony attended by several prominent personalities from the film industry. Making the occasion even more special, Power Star Pawan Kalyan and Nagababu graced the event as chief guests, turning it into a true mega celebration for fans.
The launch event became a visual feast as the mega trio- Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, and Nagababu shared the stage together. Pawan Kalyan sounded the clapboard for the muhurtham shot, while Sushmita Konidela switched on the camera. Senior director VV Vinayak directed the first shot ceremonially. Legendary filmmakers B Gopal and Kodandarami Reddy, along with Nagababu, handed over the script to the makers in a traditional manner.
Several noted directors, producers, and film personalities attended the grand launch ceremony. Lohith from KVN Productions and the entire team were also present on the occasion.
Director Bobby Kolli, known for presenting larger-than-life commercial entertainers with strong mass appeal, has reportedly crafted an even more powerful and high-voltage story for this project. Megastar Chiranjeevi is said to be playing one of the most intense and dynamic characters of his career. His recent fitness transformation and gym videos have already generated huge curiosity, hinting at the effort and dedication he is investing in the role.
Talented Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan has been roped in for a pivotal role in the film.
The movie boasts a stellar technical crew. Sensational music director S Thaman is composing the soundtrack, while acclaimed cinematographer Vijay Karthik Kannan handles the visuals. Production design is by Avinash Kolla, and editing responsibilities are handled by Antony Ruben.
The screenplay is jointly penned by Kona Venkat and K Chakravarthy Reddy, with additional screenplay support from Hari Mohana Krishna and Vineeth Potluri. Popular writing duo Bhanu–Nandu, known for their entertaining and witty dialogues, are penning the film’s dialogues.
The regular shoot of #ChiruBobby2 / #Chiru158 is set to commence tomorrow in Hyderabad.
