Legendary M.M. Keeravani Applauds the Passion Behind ‘Sri Chidambaram Garu’
Presented by Smt. Chinta Varalakshmi under the Sri Chakras Entertainment banner, Sri Chidambaram Garu is produced by Chinta Vineesh Reddy and Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy, with Chinta Rajasekhar Reddy as co-producer. Starring Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vashishta as the lead pair, the film marks the directorial debut of Vinay Ratnam. The movie is all set to hit theatres on February 6.
The makers recently held a grand pre-release event, which was graced by legendary music director M.M. Keeravani, actor Anand Deverakonda, and producer-actor Niharika Konidela, adding prestige and excitement to the celebrations.
Speaking at the event, M.M. Keeravani said,
“This film has been made with great enthusiasm by a passionate young team. I sincerely hope Sri Chidambaram Garu becomes a big success. Not everyone is born a celebrity—everyone goes through struggles. I entered the industry aspiring to be a playback singer, but soon realized how difficult it was and searched for another path. Eventually, music direction became my profession, while singing turned into my hobby.
In this film, the song I sang was listened to by my sister every day like a morning prayer. I was so impressed that I even asked her to call the director and congratulate him. I’m truly happy to have sung for this film and wish it brings success to everyone involved.”
Actor Anand Deverakonda shared his thoughts, saying,
“I know how important a first film is, and I understand the hard work behind it—that’s why I’m here. When our film was in the editing stage, Aditya Hassan told me about this pre-release event, and I immediately decided to attend.
I really liked the teaser. The music, visuals, and characters felt very natural and rooted. Roles like these are rare. Being a hero is not just about heroism—it’s about giving confidence to people, and that seems to be the intention of this film. Playing such a role isn’t easy, and Vamsi looked completely convincing. Niharika Konidela, who attended the event to support the team, said,

Producer Chinta Gopala Krishna Reddy emotionally spoke about the journey of the film, stating,

Producer Vamsi Nandipati said,
