Hushaar Pittalu Drops Mangli’s Peppy ‘Tonga.. Tonga’ Song
The makers of the upcoming Telugu youthful entertainer Hushaar Pittalu have unveiled the film’s vibrant promotional track, “Tonga.. Tonga,” sung by popular folk sensation Mangli. Packed with infectious beats and energetic visuals, the song offers a glimpse into the film’s fun-filled and youthful vibe ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on August 15.
Presented by Padma Amma and BVG Studios, Hushaar Pittalu stars Anshu and Vasavi Ganesan in the lead roles. The film is produced by Venkat Yadav under the Rudra Kranti Pictures banner and directed by Bikshu. Having completed all production formalities, the film will be distributed by Asian Suresh Entertainment, adding further credibility to the project.
The recently released teaser generated significant curiosity among audiences and sparked conversations across social media. With the launch of Tonga.. Tonga, the makers are now amplifying the film’s promotional campaign.

Speaking at the song launch event, producer and distributor Bekkem Venugopal expressed immense confidence in the film.

Charan Arjun Calls the Song Launch a Special Moment
Music director Charan Arjun shared his excitement over the event.
“This is the first time a special event has been organized exclusively to launch a song from one of my films, and it feels memorable. We designed ‘Tonga.. Tonga’ as a festive celebration track. The album has songs for every section of the audience. Director Bikshu’s rooted storytelling has already attracted attention after the teaser. August 15 is personally a very special date for me, and I always felt while composing this film that I was working on a blockbuster.”
Producer Venkat Yadav: ‘The Story Will Silence All Criticism’
Producer Venkat Yadav addressed the mixed reactions to the teaser and remained confident that the film’s content would win over audiences.
“The teaser went viral, but some people misunderstood the concept and criticized it without knowing the story. Once they watch the film, they’ll understand its emotional depth. Hushaar Pittalu offers every emotion audiences expect from a complete entertainer. Characters like Chitti Pilla and Masinepalli Ravi will provide tremendous entertainment. We selected every actor carefully, and everyone has delivered exceptional performances. The support from Suresh Babu garu and Asian Suresh Entertainment itself reflects the confidence they have in our film.”
Director Bikshu Says the Film Will Surprise Audiences
Director Bikshu admitted that the teaser attracted trolling but believes the film itself will change public perception.
“The trolls actually made me more popular. Many judged the film without understanding its story. Once audiences watch Hushaar Pittalu, they’ll realize their assumptions were wrong. If this teaser had been released in Tamil or Malayalam, it would have been appreciated immediately. I believe this film will set a new trend in Telugu cinema and earn appreciation across languages. Vasavi has completely lived the role of Putta Chitti, and the confidence we are expressing today will be justified after the film’s release.”
Lead Cast Expresses Confidence
Lead actor Anshu said he felt privileged to have Mangli lend her voice to the film.
“Mangli singing for my film is a dream come true. Charan Arjun has delivered a fantastic composition. My confidence comes from director Bikshu and producer Venkat. The teaser created curiosity, but the real strength lies in the story, and audiences will realize that once they watch the film.”
Lead actress Vasavi Ganesan said she accepted the project because of the conviction shown by the makers.

Tonga.’ Some people misunderstood my character after the teaser, but once they watch the film, they’ll understand the difference between Vasavi Ganesan and Putta Chitti.”
The event was also attended by actors Govardhan, Naveen, Anjila, cinematographer Rudra Sai, lyricist S.S. Chiranjeevan, and other members of the film’s cast and crew.
