Young and promising actor Sumanth Prabhas is all set to captivate audiences with Godari Gattupaina, a breezy rural drama that beautifully blends romance, humour, and heartfelt family emotions. Directed by debutant Subash Chandra and backed by Red Puppet Productions, the film features Nidhi Pradeep as the female lead, while seasoned actor Jagapathi Babu plays a pivotal role that anchors the emotional core. Following the encouraging response to its teaser and songs, the makers have now unveiled a captivating trailer.
At its heart, the film narrates a tender love story between Raju, a simple and lovable auto driver, and Maaya, a college student who becomes a regular passenger in his auto. What begins as quiet admiration gradually blossoms into love. While Maaya reciprocates his feelings, their journey is far from easy. Raju must earn the approval of her protective father, turning their innocent romance into a deeply emotional test of love, trust, and values.
Sumanth Prabhas effortlessly slips into the role of a village youth, bringing authenticity and charm, particularly with his natural command over the Godavari dialect. Nidhi Pradeep appears refreshing as Maaya, gracefully portraying the conflict between her love and familial bonds. Jagapathi Babu delivers a nuanced performance as the caring yet firm father, while Laila adds emotional depth as the mother.
