Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘I Am Game’ Locks August 20 Release
The excitement surrounding Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited action thriller I Am Game continues to soar with the unveiling of a striking new poster. Showcasing Dulquer in an ultra-stylish and charismatic avatar, the latest poster has further amplified expectations for what is shaping up to be one of the biggest Malayalam releases of 2026.
The film, which had previously announced its release date, is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 20, 2026, as a special Onam attraction. Currently in the final stages of post-production, I Am Game is already generating massive buzz across industries.
Produced under Dulquer Salmaan’s prestigious Wayfarer Films banner, the big-budget action thriller is being hailed as the most ambitious project of the star’s career. Directed by blockbuster filmmaker Nahas Hidayath, the film is jointly produced by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese. The screenplay has been penned by Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran.
Shot across more than 100 locations throughout South India, I Am Game promises a visually spectacular cinematic experience. Positioned as one of Malayalam cinema’s biggest productions, the film presents Dulquer Salmaan in what is being touted as his most stylish, intense, and mass-appealing role to date. The movie also marks Wayfarer Films’ next major release following the phenomenal success of Lokha.
The first-look and second-look posters created a storm on social media, and the latest reveal has only heightened anticipation. Significantly, I Am Game marks Dulquer Salmaan’s landmark 40th film and is expected to deliver a high-octane blend of action, style, and entertainment.
The ensemble cast features Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in pivotal roles. Music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the action sequences are choreographed by the acclaimed stunt duo Anbariv.
The film also marks Nahas Hidayath’s next directorial venture after the blockbuster success of RDX. Designed as a pan-India entertainer, I Am Game will release in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
