Anil Ravipudi Hails ‘Sing Geetham’ as a Landmark Film
‘Sing Geetham’ Wins Hearts; Anil Ravipudi, DSP, and Nag Ashwin Celebrate Film’s Golden Blockbuster Success
The latest cinematic masterpiece from legendary filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, Sing Geetham, continues to receive overwhelming appreciation from audiences and critics alike. Produced by Nag Ashwin under the prestigious banners of Vyjayanthi Movies and Swapna Cinema, the musical fantasy stars Ayaan, Ahalya Bamroo, and Shalini Kondepudi in key roles, with music composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad. Released worldwide on June 12, the film has emerged as both a critical and commercial success, prompting the makers to celebrate with a grand Golden Blockbuster Event.
Speaking at the event, successful director Anil Ravipudi expressed his admiration for the film, saying, “I watched Sing Geetham and absolutely loved it. It is unique, emotional, and deeply heart-touching. Every movie lover should experience it in theatres. What amazed me most is that Nag Ashwin released the film without a conventional trailer and still delivered a blockbuster. That takes tremendous conviction.”

Music director Devi Sri Prasad described the film as one of the most satisfying experiences of his career. “For years, I wanted to work on a truly musical film, and Sing Geetham fulfilled that dream. This project has given me the biggest musical satisfaction of my career. Singeetam garu’s passion at the age of 94 is an inspiration to every creator. The credit I receive for this film belongs to my guru Mandolin Srinivas and my parents,” he said.
Producer Nag Ashwin reflected on his journey with the legendary filmmaker. “I first met Singeetam garu while researching Savitri garu’s life. At that time, I never imagined that one day I would help bring his dream project to the screen. This film taught us how to make a completely new kind of cinema. Every actor in the film sang their own songs, making the experience even more special.”
Nag Ashwin also revealed that audience response has been extraordinary. “After Mahanati, this is the film that audiences have embraced most passionately. Once people started talking about it, viewers of all ages began coming to theatres. That acceptance belongs entirely to Singeetam garu’s vision.”
Co-director Sankalp described the project as a labor of love. “This was Singeetam garu’s 40-year dream. Everyone involved worked with complete sincerity and dedication to make that dream a reality. The film is pure in its intent, and that honesty is visible on screen.”
