Devotional Anthem “NAMO Re” from Nagabandham Released
Directed with grand vision by Abhishek Nama and produced by Kishore Annapreddy and Nishitha Nagireddy, the upcoming pan-Indian magnum opus Nagabandham, starring Virat Karrna, is shaping up to be a spectacular cinematic experience. With an ensemble of seasoned actors and a story deeply rooted in Indian culture and spirituality, the film aims to celebrate the nation’s artistic heritage, spiritual depth, and rich storytelling traditions.
Marking the beginning of its devotional journey, the makers have now unveiled the much-awaited first single “NAMO Re,” which is already being hailed as a potential spiritual anthem of 2026. Soul-stirring and visually magnificent, the song pays tribute to Lord Narayana while beautifully exploring themes of devotion, faith, and inner strength.
Music composers Juned Kumar and Abhe craft a mesmerizing soundscape that seamlessly blends classical influences with contemporary musical textures. Lyricist Sriharsha Emani pens spiritually evocative lines that inspire introspection and devotion. Adding emotional depth to the composition are the heartfelt vocals of Sindhuja Srinivasan and Aishwarya Daruri, whose soulful renditions elevate the track into a truly divine musical experience.
One of the most striking aspects of the song is its massive choreography, designed by renowned choreographers Ganesh Acharya and Shrasti Verma. Featuring more than 2,000 dancers performing a variety of Indian classical and folk dance forms, the visuals burst with cultural vibrancy and grandeur. Nabha Natesh and Daksha Nagarkar deliver graceful classical performances that further enhance the song’s spiritual and visual appeal.
Production designer Ashok Kumar has meticulously recreated the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple, achieving remarkable authenticity. Every element—from the sacred pathways to the intricate carvings—reflects extensive research and artistic precision, making each frame appear as though it were filmed inside the original temple in Tiruvananthapuram. The grandeur and spiritual aura of the set stand out as one of the film’s most remarkable creative achievements.
Cinematographer Sounder Rajan further elevates this vision through his captivating visuals. With vibrant color palettes, traditional motifs, and sweeping frames, he beautifully captures both the scale and sanctity of the setting. His lens transforms the song into a visually immersive experience, echoing the divine aura associated with the iconic Padmanabha Swamy temple.
More than just a musical release, “NAMO Re” emerges as a cultural celebration of devotion, unity, and hope. Its powerful combination of meaningful lyrics, soulful vocals, and grand choreography creates an immersive experience that resonates with audiences across languages and regions.
As anticipation continues to build for Nagabandham, the impact of “NAMO Re” offers a glimpse into what promises to be a transformative cinematic journey—one that aims to go beyond entertainment and inspire spiritual reflection while contributing meaningfully to contemporary Indian cinema.
Nagabandham is slated for a grand summer release, and with “NAMO Re” already creating waves, the film has begun its journey on a powerful and devotional note.
