As part of the birthday celebrations of God of Masses Nandamuri Balakrishna on June 10, the special tribute song “Bhola Balayya” was launched in a grand event attended by fans and well-wishers. Blockbuster director Boyapati Srinu graced the occasion as the chief guest, adding further grandeur to the celebrations. The event witnessed an overwhelming response from Balakrishna’s fans, creating a festive atmosphere.
Boyapati Srinu Speaks
Addressing the gathering, director Boyapati Srinu said,
“Greetings to everyone. Through my films, I have shown the world what Balayya Babu represents. Speaking about this song, it has come out wonderfully. The music, lyrics, choreography, artists, and everyone involved—including Jagan, who conceptualized it—have done a fantastic job. The visuals are particularly outstanding.”
“Watching the visuals that showcase Balakrishna garu’s journey from childhood photographs to the present day creates a strong emotional connection. The audience will be deeply moved by these visuals. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this song. Jagan has assembled an excellent team, and his hard work will surely yield great results.”
Wishing Balakrishna in advance, Boyapati added,
“Balayya Babu’s birthday is a festival that doesn’t exist on any calendar—it lives only in the hearts of his fans. Every year, fans celebrate it with immense love and enthusiasm, and each year the celebrations grow bigger. Balakrishna garu always keeps his fans close to his heart.”
“Looking at this event, it feels like a grand pre-release function. Fans organize such celebrations purely out of love and admiration for their favorite hero. Their blessings are always with him. Hard work and service are two things Balayya garu loves the most. It is truly commendable that his fans have embraced these values and are carrying forward several service activities. I wish Balayya Babu a long, healthy, and happy life. Jai Balayya!”
Anantapuram Jagan Speaks
NBK Helping Hands founder Anantapuram Jagan expressed his admiration for Balakrishna and said,
“The birthday of Nandamuri Balakrishna garu, the beloved son of the legendary Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and the idol of millions, is a festival for all of us. Just as we celebrate Dasara for nine days, we celebrate Balayya garu’s birthday from June 1 to June 10.”
“His achievements, contributions, and service activities cannot be described in a single day. Being his fan and walking in his footsteps is a blessing. I consider it my fortune to serve him. Every minute spent with him fills me with happiness. He is a selfless individual who works nearly 20 hours a day across multiple fields and always remains accessible to his fans.”
Speaking about the song, Jagan added,
“Director Boyapati Srinu garu, who presented Balakrishna as a lion on screen and delivered blockbusters like Akhanda, launching this song is a matter of great joy for us. We named this song ‘Bhola Balayya’ because it perfectly reflects Balayya garu’s pure-hearted personality.”
“No matter how much service we do for him, it always feels insufficient. After my father’s demise, Balayya garu has been a father figure to me. Releasing this song in the presence of Boyapati garu is truly special.”
In a memorable statement, he said,
“There may be breakups in love stories, but if you love Balayya Babu, there are no breakups. That love lasts a lifetime.”
He also appreciated director Shivaji for visualizing the song beautifully and thanked singers Kareemulla and Ruchera Vaidya along with the entire team.
Lyricist Divakar Amilineni Speaks
Lyricist Divakar Amilineni shared,
“Jagan garu gave us a simple yet powerful brief—‘Write exactly the way Balayya Babu is, and that itself will become the song.’ With that thought, I penned these lyrics. I hope everyone likes the song. I extend my heartfelt birthday wishes to Balakrishna garu and thank all his fans for their continuous support and blessings.”
Singer Kareemulla Speaks
Singer Kareemulla said,
“Anantapuram Jagan garu has immense admiration for Balayya garu. Earlier, I had the opportunity to sing ‘Jai Balayya’ from Veera Simha Reddy, the Ganesh song from Bhagavanth Kesari, and also Akhanda Tandavam. Receiving another opportunity to sing a song dedicated to Balayya garu by his fans is a great honor and blessing. My heartfelt thanks to Jagan garu and the entire team for this opportunity.”
The launch of “Bhola Balayya” turned into a memorable celebration of Balakrishna’s legacy, personality, and the unwavering love of his fans, setting the stage for grand birthday festivities across the Telugu states.
