Following the success of Subham, young actor Harshith Reddy is set to entertain audiences with his next outing, Deewana, a heartfelt romantic drama produced by Vasudev Koppineni and Sridevi Karyampudi under the Arha Media and V Studios banners. The film introduces Smeha Manimegalai as the female lead and marks the directorial debut of Srikanth Sangishetty. Distributed by Geetha Film Distributors, Deewana is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on June 19.
The film’s trailer was launched in Hyderabad in the presence of renowned producer Allu Aravind, actor Vishwak Sen, and producer Dheeraj Mogilineni, who attended as chief guests and extended their support to the promising project.
Speaking at the event, editor Hrushikesh Paspal expressed gratitude to the guests and the film’s team for trusting him with his debut project. He said the entire team is confident that Deewana will connect strongly with audiences and emerge as a success.
Cinematographer Vamsi Patchipulusu thanked the producers for their support and described the film as an emotional and entertaining journey backed by a talented cast and crew.
Music director Eshwar Chand revealed that the songs have already received tremendous appreciation from audiences. He noted that tracks like Idi Prema Idi Prema and Tellapori became highly popular, adding that he composed the music with the intention of deeply conveying the film’s emotional core.
Actor Narsingh, who plays the hero’s friend, shared that the film beautifully portrays one-sided love, friendship, and emotional relationships. He thanked the producers and director for their unwavering support throughout the production.
Actor Tony expressed his happiness about being part of a project associated with Geetha Arts and appreciated director Srikanth Sangishetty for helping him bring his character to life.
Producer Vasudev Koppineni delivered an emotional speech, describing cinema as his lifelong passion. He thanked Allu Aravind for his guidance and acknowledged Vishwak Sen as a source of inspiration whose journey motivated the team during difficult phases of production.
“Deewana is a film born out of passion and perseverance. The story of one-sided love resonated deeply with my own love for cinema. Every successful day of shooting brought joy, and every challenge felt personal. This film represents not just a story, but the realization of many dreams,” he said.
Producer Sridevi Karyampudi stated that director Srikanth, music director Eshwar, heroine Smeha, and hero Harshith are the four pillars of the film, while Vasudev serves as its foundation. She praised the dedication of the entire team and expressed confidence that audiences would be emotionally invested in the journey of Munna and Ammu.
Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni applauded Harshith Reddy’s growth as an actor and praised the producers for backing the project without compromising on quality. He expressed confidence that their passion and commitment would be rewarded with a major success.
Director Srikanth Sangishetty described Deewana as a wholesome entertainer that goes beyond one-sided love and explores parental affection, friendship, and human emotions. He revealed that the story instantly impressed the producers and that every creative decision was made with the audience in mind.
“Deewana respects the audience’s time, intelligence, and emotions. It is a film that celebrates relationships and reminds people why they love cinema,” he said.
Heroine Smeha Manimegalai thanked the makers for entrusting her with the role of Ammu and expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response she received after the success of the song Tellapori. She described the film as an emotional roller-coaster packed with love, laughter, and heartfelt moments.
Hero Harshith Reddy said that watching Vishwak Sen’s journey gave him confidence to pursue his own dreams in cinema. He emphasized that the team’s confidence stems from their belief in the quality of the film.

Delivering the keynote address, veteran producer Allu Aravind revealed that director Srikanth had narrated the story to him for nearly ninety minutes and that he was immediately impressed. He recalled asking the director to shoot a sample scene before proceeding with the project.
“When I watched the footage, I was convinced that Srikanth had the ability to become a successful filmmaker. He has extracted outstanding performances from every actor, particularly Harshith, whose performance will leave audiences emotional during the climax,” said Allu Aravind.
Praising the lead pair, he added that Harshith possesses the potential to carve a unique identity for himself in the industry, while Smeha’s charming screen presence is likely to open many opportunities for her in Telugu cinema.
