Megastar Chiranjeevi regained strong box-office momentum with Mana Shankar Varaprasad Garu during the recent Sankranti season. The film emerged as one of the biggest regional blockbusters in recent times, restoring market confidence in Chiranjeevi’s star power and reaffirming his commercial pull.
Attention has now shifted to his long-delayed project, Vishwambhara. The film has been in production for several years, and even now, there is little positive buzz surrounding it. Post-production work continues amid repeated concerns over the quality of the visual effects, which has kept the project in limbo for far too long.
Extended production timelines have placed Vishwambhara in a risky zone. Industry circles are not expecting major box-office returns from the film, largely due to the prolonged delays and lack of excitement. However, delaying the release further could only worsen the situation. At this point, it may be wiser for Chiranjeevi and the makers to complete the remaining work swiftly and bring the film to theatres without further hesitation.

With the summer release calendar currently lacking major star-driven films, the consensus within the industry is clear: both Chiranjeevi and the producers should prioritize wrapping up Vishwambhara and release it at the earliest. Prolonging the wait serves little purpose, while a timely release could help limit losses and allow all stakeholders to move forward.
