Yash & Tara Sutaria’s Romantic Track ‘Madhosh’ Unveils a New Side of Toxic
After the phenomenal success of the chartbuster Tabaahi, the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the film’s second song, Madhosh, offering audiences a deeper glimpse into the emotional journey of Raya and Rebecca. Presented by Monster Mind Creations, KVN Productions, and Zee Music Company, the romantic melody showcases the sizzling chemistry between Rocking Star Yash and Tara Sutaria.
While Tabaahi captured the exhilarating rush of passion, Madhosh explores the quieter, more intimate side of love. Filled with tenderness, longing, and unspoken emotions, the song adds another emotional layer to Toxic, highlighting that every love story unfolds through different shades of affection and vulnerability.
The song presents Raya and Rebecca’s relationship from an entirely new perspective. Yash’s character Raya, previously seen as intense and enigmatic, reveals a softer and more carefree side when he is with Rebecca. Tara Sutaria complements him beautifully, portraying a relationship that balances playful romance with emotional complexity. Their effortless chemistry, combined with underlying conflict and silent yearning, makes Madhosh a visually and emotionally captivating experience.
The soulful composition has been created by the talented trio Tanishk Bagchi, Arslan Nizami, and Faheem Abdullah, while acclaimed singer Siddharth Basrur lends his voice across all five language versions. Staying true to the film’s pan-Indian vision, the song has been released as Madhosh (Hindi), Manamohaka (Kannada), Manasaagadhe (Telugu), Thadumaarudheyyy (Tamil), and MadhuMohini (Malayalam).
The lyrics have been penned by celebrated lyricists across languages—Pramod Maravanthe (Kannada), Arslan Nizami and Syed Murad Gilani (Hindi), RamaJogaiah Sastry (Telugu), Vignesh Shivan (Tamil), and Rajeev Govindan (Malayalam).
Sharing his thoughts on the track, composer Tanishk Bagchi said that Madhosh holds a special place in the hearts of the composers as it marks another collaboration between him, Arslan Nizami, and Faheem Abdullah for a film as grand as Toxic. He also praised Siddharth Basrur for bringing immense emotional depth to the composition, adding that the song beautifully captures Raya and Rebecca’s journey of love, longing, and romance.
Playback singer Siddharth Basrur described Madhosh as a song that goes beyond heartbreak. According to him, it reflects everything left unsaid between two people, blending vulnerability with emotional intensity. He expressed hope that listeners would connect with the song’s honesty and evolving emotional depth.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Yash, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups features an impressive ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi.
Shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, the film will also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages, reinforcing its pan-Indian appeal. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 26, 2026.
