Ramya Krishna Joins ‘Queen’ as Andhra Pradesh CM
Veteran actress Ramya Krishna has officially joined the cast of the upcoming women-centric Telugu film Queen, directed by talented filmmaker Rathan Rishi. The film marks the lead debut of popular social media influencer ER Yamini and is being produced under the One Circle Films banner.
The makers announced that Ramya Krishna will be seen as Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Lakshmi Pranathi, a powerful and influential political leader whose character is expected to play a crucial role in the narrative. Known for delivering memorable performances in commanding roles, Ramya Krishna’s addition has significantly raised expectations for the film.
Set between 2006 and 2010, Queen draws inspiration from real-life incidents and personalities while presenting a fictional story. Blending political drama with an emotional love story, the film explores contemporary social issues through a compelling narrative, promising an engaging cinematic experience.
The film features an impressive supporting cast, with Sai Kumar playing the heroine’s father, while Ajay Ghosh and Kalakeya Prabhakar appear as the primary antagonists. Veteran actor Tanikella Bharani, Naveen Bethiganti, and several other noted performers also play key roles.
