I Am Game Set For Grand Worldwide Release On August 20, 2026
The makers of Dulquer Salmaan’s much-awaited action thriller I Am Game have officially announced the film’s release date. Mounted on the biggest budget in Dulquer Salmaan’s career, the film is all set for a grand worldwide theatrical release on August 20, 2026. The movie is currently in the final stages of post-production, with dubbing and other technical works progressing at a brisk pace.
Produced under the prestigious Wayfarer Films banner, the film is being jointly bankrolled by Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese. Directed by Nahas Hidayath, I Am Game has been shot extensively across more than 100 locations in South India, promising a visually grand cinematic experience. The story has been penned by Shahabas Rasheed and Adarsh Sukumaran.
The film is touted to be one of the biggest productions ever made in Malayalam cinema. Dulquer Salmaan will be seen in an ultra-stylish and mass-packed avatar, with the actor himself revealing that this is the most stylish film of his career so far. Following the blockbuster success of Lokah, this marks another ambitious project from Wayfarer Films. The already released first-look and second-look posters have generated tremendous buzz and received an overwhelming response on social media. Notably, I Am Game also marks Dulquer Salmaan’s milestone 40th film.
Promising a thrilling cinematic experience unlike anything Malayalam audiences have seen before, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Antony Varghese, Mysskin, Kayadu Lohar, Kathir, Parth Tiwari, and Samyuktha Viswanathan in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the high-octane action sequences are choreographed by the acclaimed stunt duo Anbariv. This also marks director Nahas Hidayath’s next project after the blockbuster success of RDX.
I Am Game will release as a pan-India entertainer in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
