Sudheer Anand, widely recognized as Sudigaali Sudheer, is steadily carving a strong niche for himself in both television and cinema. His upcoming film Hai Lesso is already generating solid excitement among fans and movie lovers alike. The film marks the directorial debut of Prasanna Kumar Kota and also serves as the maiden production venture of Siva Cherry and Ravikiran under the Vajra Varahi Cinemas banner. Interestingly, Hai Lesso is Sudheer Anand’s fifth film as a lead actor, while actor Shivaji will be seen in a powerful negative role, adding extra intensity to the narrative.
On the occasion of Sudheer Anand’s birthday, the makers unveiled a powerful special poster that instantly grabbed attention across social media. The poster showcases Sudheer in a never-before-seen rugged and intense avatar. Holding a massive ritual sword decorated with bells and smeared with blood, Sudheer appears fierce and mysterious, with part of his face hidden in shadows. Set against a spiritually charged temple backdrop, the poster also features traditional festival performers carrying machetes, creating a gripping blend of devotion, folklore, and violence. The striking visual promises a raw rural action drama packed with emotion and mysticism.
Set in a rustic backdrop, Hai Lesso is expected to explore deep-rooted emotions and intense dramatic conflicts. Sudheer Anand reportedly plays one of the most powerful and performance-driven roles of his career, showcasing a completely different side of him as an actor.
The team has successfully completed a major 25-day shooting schedule in Hyderabad, where crucial talkie portions, energetic Jathara episodes, and a song sequence were filmed. The makers are now preparing for an extensive 40-day schedule in Eluru, after which the entire shoot is expected to be wrapped up.
The film stars Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran as the female leads, bringing freshness and glamour to the project. Kannada actress Akshara Gowda plays a crucial supporting character that is said to be vital to the storyline. The supporting cast further includes Motta Rajendran, Getup Srinu, and Bevara Duhitha Saranya in significant roles.
Backing the film is a talented technical crew. Music is composed by Anudeep Dev, while Sujatha Siddarth handles cinematography. Veteran editor Chota K Prasad is overseeing editing duties, and Brahma Kadali serves as the production designer. The story has been penned by Chintha Srinivas.
Currently progressing at a brisk pace, Hai Lesso is on track for a grand theatrical release towards the end of this year. The makers are planning a multilingual release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, aiming to reach audiences across South India on a large scale.
