“Ram Charan’s Performance And Action Sequences In Peddi Will Be Next Level – Fight Master Nabakanta
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited rural action drama Peddi is already carrying massive expectations among audiences. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings presenting the film, the movie is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on June 4.
With chartbuster songs and an impressive glimpse already creating huge buzz, Fight Master Nabakanta interacted with the media and shared several exciting details about the film and working with Ram Charan.
“Ram Charan Will Take Audiences Deep Into Peddi’s World”
Speaking about the film, Nabakanta said that Ram Charan’s performance in Peddi will be one of the biggest highlights.
“Charan sir’s performance is on another level in this film. He completely pulls the audience into the world of Peddi. The emotions in the movie are extremely powerful, and every action sequence feels fresh and unique. From the introduction scene to the climax, every episode has been designed in a way audiences haven’t seen before,” he shared.
“The Viral Batting Shot Came From Real Mass Cricket Energy”
Nabakanta revealed how the now-viral batting shot from the glimpse was conceived.
“I grew up in Hafeezpet, which is a full mass area. During childhood cricket matches, we always wanted to hit massive sixes, and we used to swing the bat with raw power from below. That mass energy inspired the batting shot in Peddi. Buchi Babu garu trusted my vision completely, and the shot became viral across the country,” he explained.
“Every Action Sequence Was A Challenge”
The stunt choreographer said the film’s action episodes are among the most challenging and exciting work of his career.
“Buchi Babu garu designed every action block with a fresh perspective. The content is extremely powerful. There are wrestling-based action episodes in the film that will blow audiences away. The mass appeal in those sequences is something people haven’t experienced before,” he said.
He further revealed that the police station episode was choreographed by Ram-Lakshman masters, while wrestling portions involved guidance from veteran action director Shyam Kaushal, father of Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal.
“Ram Charan’s Commitment Shocked Me”
Recalling an injury incident during the shoot, Nabakanta became emotional while praising Ram Charan’s dedication.
“During one action movement, Charan sir got injured accidentally. I actually broke down at that moment. But the greatness of Charan sir is that he openly said the mistake was from his side, which very few stars would do. Before even thinking about himself, he asked everyone to check whether the fighter opposite him was okay. He got stitches done and returned to the shoot the very next day. That level of commitment and dedication is unbelievable,” he revealed.

“He Completely Trusts Technicians”
Nabakanta also spoke highly about Ram Charan’s work ethic and discipline.
“One of Charan sir’s best qualities is that he listens carefully to technicians and trusts them completely. He underwent a major physical transformation for this film. He followed strict discipline while wearing the Ayyappa mala and maintaining a tough diet. Especially in the second half, there are intense action sequences centered around his body language and physicality,” he said.
“Shiva Rajkumar’s Energy Is Incredible”
The fight master also confirmed powerful action sequences involving Shiva Rajkumar and Divyenndu.
“Shiva Rajkumar sir’s energy levels are extraordinary. His willpower and enthusiasm on set are truly inspiring,” he added.
“Peddi Will Emotionally Connect With Everyone”
Concluding the interaction, Nabakanta expressed confidence that Peddi will strike a strong emotional chord with audiences.
“The emotional journey in Peddi starts connecting with audiences right from the first half. Ram Charan’s performance truly lives up to his global star image. This film will emotionally resonate with everyone,” he said.
Apart from Peddi, Nabakanta is currently working on The Paradise, Rowdy Janardhan, a project featuring Salman Khan directed by Vamshi, and a film starring Chiranjeevi directed by Bobby.
