Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Set for Grand Worldwide Release in June
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s much-awaited pan-India sports action drama Peddi has been building solid buzz ever since its promotional campaign began. The two songs released so far have turned into chartbusters, while the glimpses have impressed audiences by presenting Ram Charan in two strikingly different avatars. The birthday special glimpse, in particular, received overwhelming appreciation and further amplified expectations around the film.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, with Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings backing the project, Peddi has been progressing steadily toward release.
In a recent update, the makers officially announced a slight delay in the film’s release. The film is now scheduled to hit theatres worldwide in June. In their statement, the team revealed that they are बेहद pleased with the film’s current output after reviewing the edit. However, they have decided to take additional time to fine-tune post-production work, ensuring that the final product meets the highest standards of cinematic excellence. The makers emphasized that this decision is aimed at delivering a visually rich and immersive theatrical experience for audiences.
Janhvi Kapoor plays the female lead in the film, alongside a strong supporting cast that includes Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
On the technical front, Peddi boasts a powerhouse crew. Renowned cinematographer R. Rathnavelu handles the visuals, while Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman scores the music. Editing is managed by Navin Nooli, and Avinash Kolla brings the film’s world to life with his detailed and grand production design.
With a compelling combination of star power, strong technical backing, and growing anticipation, Peddi is shaping up to be one of the most awaited releases of the year.
