‘The Girlfriend’ Continues Winning Streak with Three Ugadi Awards
The Girlfriend, starring National Crush Rashmika Mandanna, is continuing its impressive award-winning run, adding more accolades to its growing list of achievements. The film, which has already brought Rashmika the Best Actress honor at the Gaddar Awards, has now made a strong mark at the prestigious Sri Kalasudha Telugu Association Ugadi Awards.
At the 28th Ugadi Awards ceremony held in Chennai, the film secured three major awards. Rashmika Mandanna once again bagged the Best Actress award for her standout performance, further cementing her dominance in the industry.
Actor Dikshit Shetty earned the Best Villain award for his impactful role, while director Rahul Ravindran was honored with the prestigious Bapu-Ramana Award for Best Writing and Direction.
Dikshit Shetty and Rahul Ravindran were present at the ceremony and received their awards from Union Minister Pemmasani Chandrasekhar.
The film was presented by noted producer Allu Aravind and jointly produced under the banners of Geetha Arts and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainment. The project was helmed by Rahul Ravindran, with Dheeraj Mogilineni and Vidya Koppineedi backing it as producers.
With multiple awards and growing recognition, The Girlfriend is clearly emerging as one of the most celebrated films in recent times.
