Megastar Chiranjeevi has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious NTR National Film Award for 2025, announced by the Government of Telangana as part of the newly instituted Gaddar Film Awards. The honour recognises Chiranjeevi’s extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema and his decades-long influence on the Telugu film industry.
The NTR National Award carries immense prestige as it is named after legendary actor and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. T. Rama Rao. The award celebrates film personalities whose work has significantly elevated the stature of Indian cinema both nationally and globally.
