Sharwa’s ‘Bhogi’ Birthday Poster Unveiled, Release On Aug 28
Charming Star Sharwa is stepping into an exciting new cinematic space as he joins hands for the first time with blockbuster filmmaker Sampath Nandi for the prestigious pan-India period action drama Bhogi. The film is being mounted on a grand scale by KK Radhamohan under the banner of Sri Sathya Sai Arts, with Lakshmi Radhamohan presenting the project. Touted as one of the most ambitious ventures in Sharwa’s career, the film has already generated significant buzz ever since the makers unveiled its powerful first-look poster, which received an overwhelming response from audiences.
Marking Sharwa’s birthday, the makers released a special poster today, presenting him in a strikingly rugged and intense avatar. Sporting thick, messy hair and a dense beard, Sharwa appears raw, fierce, and rebellious. With a beedi hanging from his lips and smoke slowly drifting out, the look exudes attitude and grit. His slightly sweaty and textured appearance adds a layer of realism, while his stern expression and piercing gaze hint at a powerful and uncompromising character.
The film, which carries the intriguing tagline “A Blood Fest,” is currently progressing with its shoot. In what promises to be a never-seen-before transformation, Sharwa will be seen playing a rustic and highly intense role, and his makeover has already become a major talking point among fans and film circles.
Director Sampath Nandi is crafting the story against a rugged period backdrop set along the North Telangana–Maharashtra border in the late 1960s. Rooted in that era, the narrative promises a raw, gritty, and emotionally charged experience that adds depth and authenticity to the film.

At present, the team is filming in a massive set erected in Hyderabad, where a high-octane action sequence is being shot.
The film stars Anupama Parameswaran and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, alongside several notable actors playing important supporting roles.
On the technical front, the film boasts a strong crew. Kiran Kumar Manne handles the production design, Kishore Kumar Arokia is the cinematographer, and the music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.
Planned as a grand pan-India release, Bhogi will hit theatres in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on August 28, coinciding with the festive occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
