Mension House Mallesh Is a Complete Comedy Family Entertainer: Srinath Maganti
Starring Srinath Maganti in the lead role, Mension House Mallesh is directed by Bala Satish and produced by Rajesh under the Kanakamedala Productions banner. Gayatri Ramana and Sai Kamakshi Bhasker play the female leads. The teaser and trailer have already received a very positive response, and the film is all set for a grand theatrical release on March 6. On this occasion, hero Srinath Maganti interacted with the media and shared interesting details about the film.
Why the title ‘Mension House Mallesh’?
Our title is Mension House Mallesh. At first glance, it may look like “Mansion House Mallesh,” but that’s intentional. In the film, my character mistakenly writes the name wrong, while people read it correctly. We wanted a catchy, intriguing title, and it worked well. The songs have also connected strongly with the audience.
What kind of character will you be seen in?
I play a reckless, arrogant man who goes astray due to bad habits. How his mother and wife bring him back onto the right path is narrated in a very entertaining way. This is a pure family comedy entertainer—a film the whole family can watch together and laugh out loud.
You usually appear classy. How was it playing a mass character for the first time?
In Hit, I appeared neat and classy, and even in Animal, my role was quite refined. In Lucky Bhaskar, I sport a vintage look. Many people assume I’m a “class” actor just by looking at my face—and even convincing them that I’m a Telugu guy is a challenge (laughs). I’m a proper Telugu boy from the Ameerpet batch.
This film gave me a chance to present myself in a completely new way. I observed several real-life characters to shape Mallesh. I even stitched a shirt from my mother’s old chunni to look authentic. I had to transform a lot for this role, and I truly believe audiences will remember my name after watching this film.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga launched the trailer. What was his reaction?
He loved it. He kept smiling throughout the trailer and said he would definitely watch the film in theatres. He’s currently very busy with Spirit, but his encouragement meant a lot to us.
About director Bala Satish
This is Satish garu’s debut film, and he is extremely clear in his vision. From body language to dialogues, he took great care in every aspect. I hope this film brings him big success. When a director succeeds, we get to see many more good stories. Though the backdrop is Telangana, the subject is universal.
About producer Rajesh
Rajesh garu came from the US with immense passion for cinema. He never compromised on quality at any stage. When a producer wins, the director, hero, and the entire team win along with him. I strongly believe this film will be a win for everyone. He also acted in the film and contributed to writing a few dialogues.
Technical strengths
Ammamuthu garu’s cinematography is outstanding—you’ll feel like you’re in a village while watching the film. Suresh Bobbili garu’s music is the soul of Mention House Mallesh.
Raj Kumar Kasireddy, Muraleedhar Goud, and Rajesh garu delivered excellent performances. Hari, who acted in Keedaa Cola, played a strong role here as well. Sadly, he passed away before the film’s release. It’s heartbreaking, but he will live on forever through this movie.
About the heroine
Gayatri Ramana played the female lead. She is a Kuchipudi dancer and has acted in the web series 100% Love. She delivered a wonderful performance in this film. All the actors in the film were very supportive, which made the journey enjoyable.

Your upcoming projects?
I’m currently working on Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi – Repeat, and the shoot has been a lot of fun. I’m also listening to a few solo-hero scripts.
