The wait is finally over for fans of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups as the makers have officially released the much-awaited music video of the film’s first single, ‘Tabaahi.’ After the song became an instant chartbuster with its audio release, the visually stunning music video has now arrived, offering audiences their first immersive glimpse into one of Indian cinema’s most anticipated films.
Presented by Monster Mind Creations, KVN Productions, and Zee Music Company, the music video features Rocking Star Yash and Kiara Advani in a fresh and captivating on-screen pairing. Showcasing an intense and passionate love story, Tabaahi beautifully captures a romance that is intimate, fearless, and emotionally charged. With breathtaking visuals, powerful storytelling, electrifying guitar compositions, and a grand orchestral score, the song sets the tone for the mysterious and visually spectacular world of Toxic.
Ahead of the launch, the makers created a wave of excitement through a clever social media campaign. The official Toxic handle posted the question, “What do you call a forbidden love that only exists in stolen time?” Kiara Advani replied with a single word—“Tabaahi.” Soon after, Zee Music Company teased fans with “Stay Tuned…”, building massive anticipation before the official premiere.
Composed and sung by Vishal Mishra with lyrics by Raj Shekhar, Tabaahi has been released in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. The multilingual versions feature lyrics penned by celebrated writers Yogaraj Bhat (Kannada), Ramajogayya Sastry (Telugu), Vignesh Shivan (Tamil), and Rafeeq Ahammed (Malayalam), highlighting the film’s pan-Indian appeal and nationwide musical reach.
Speaking about the song, Vishal Mishra said, “Tabaahi isn’t a conventional love song. It’s about love that destroys, surrenders, and burns with unmatched intensity. Toxic demanded music that was both epic and deeply personal. Yash brings incredible conviction to the screen, and I wanted every note to match that emotional power.“
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geetu Mohandas, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Yash, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has been shot in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions releasing in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and several other languages. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Yash, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, and Huma Qureshi.
