Vijay Deverakonda to Go Full Mass in Rowdy Janardhana – Producer Dil Raju at the Title Glimpse Launch
Star hero Vijay Deverakonda is set to thrill audiences in a never-seen-before mass avatar in the highly anticipated film Rowdy Janardhana. Produced by the prestigious banner Sri Venkateswara Creations, the film is being bankrolled by star producers Dil Raju and Shirish, and directed by the talented young filmmaker Ravi Kiran Kola. Mounted as a large-scale pan-India project, Rowdy Janardhana is set against a powerful rural action-drama backdrop.
The film’s title glimpse was grandly unveiled today in Hyderabad, amidst thunderous cheers and electrifying celebrations by Vijay Deverakonda’s fans, creating an unforgettable atmosphere at the launch event.
Speaking at the event, Production Designer Dino Shankar said,
“When director Ravi Kiran approached me with this project, I could immediately sense the magnitude of his vision. What you witnessed in today’s title glimpse is just a small sample—there is much more exciting content on the way. We sincerely hope audiences continue to support and encourage us.”
DOP Anand C Chandran shared his excitement, stating,
“Greetings to the entire Rowdy family. I hope you all enjoyed the Rowdy Janardhana title glimpse. There are many more surprising and visually striking moments coming up in this film, which we will reveal very soon.”
Director Ravi Kiran Kola, addressing the gathering, said,
“Like all of you, I am also a big fan of Vijay Deverakonda. I feel extremely fortunate to be working with people I admire, including Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, and Dil Raju garu. I hope you all liked the title Rowdy Janardhana. Initially, we planned to introduce the character first and reveal the title later, but the title became public earlier than expected. Still, the film is shaping up exactly the way we envisioned, and the entire team is working with great dedication. I am confident that the upcoming content will impress you even more.”
Elaborating on Vijay’s commitment to the role, Ravi Kiran added,
“The moment I narrated the story, Vijay immediately began reacting and speaking like the character. He completely owned the role, which gave me immense confidence to narrate the entire script with great enthusiasm. That’s how the project came together. We are currently preparing the sets after completing workshops, and the first day of shooting will feature an intense eight-minute sequence. Vijay arrived on set a day early and rehearsed all his dialogues with confidence. His command over the East Godavari dialect is outstanding. Since I was born and raised there, I can clearly judge the authenticity. Watching Vijay speak in that dialect has been a delight for all of us. Dil Raju garu has often mentioned that both the story and Vijay’s dialect delivery are equally impressive. Vijay and Raju garu were very particular about maintaining complete authenticity in the dialect and its flavor.”
Producer Dil Raju, speaking at the launch, said,
“Ravi Kiran has been working tirelessly with his team over the past few days to present this impactful title glimpse. Just three days ago, he narrated the brief story and explained how the film would be showcased. Vijay Deverakonda has done a wide range of films so far, but for the first time, he will be seen speaking in the East Godavari dialect of Andhra Pradesh, which felt very fresh and unique to me when I heard the story.”
He further added,
“Vijay has delivered memorable youthful films like Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy, and Geetha Govindam, but he has never portrayed such an intense, blood-soaked, pure mass character before. In Rowdy Janardhana, audiences will witness him in an out-and-out mass role. Our strong technical team has recreated a powerful world set in the 1980s, and everyone is putting in their best effort to bring Ravi Kiran’s fresh vision to life. Concluding his speech, Dil Raju said,
