Vijay Deverakonda at the Launch of Dil Raju Dreams
“Congratulations to Dil Raju garu for creating a fantastic platform like Dil Raju Dreams for those who aspire to enter the film industry.”
Devi Sri Prasad:
“Allotting separate columns not just for actors, directors, and technicians but also for producers on ‘Dil Raju Dreams’ is an excellent idea. I’ve never seen such a platform before.”
Producer Dil Raju:
“We are launching the Dil Raju Dreams website with the thought of providing a proper stage for newcomers who want to enter the industry—be it directors, producers, actors, or technicians. Many have dreams of entering the industry, but lack proper guidance. That very thought gave birth to Dil Raju Dreams. I believe this platform will serve as the right gateway for aspiring talent.”
Full Speech Highlights:
Vijay Deverakonda:
“Namaskaram to all. Thirteen years ago, I was the kind of guy who would wake up and immediately check Idlebrain.com to see if there were any casting calls. Back then, there was no extensive internet or social media. I still remember seeing the casting call for Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful there. I applied and spent six months in anxiety waiting, but that anxiety gave me hope and satisfaction—knowing there was an opportunity. That film received 16,000 applications, and only 11 were selected. I was one of them. That film played a major role in my life.
So I truly understand the value of one opportunity. I don’t know why Dil Raju garu decided to launch this platform, but Dil Raju Dreams gives hope to lakhs of people. My best wishes to everyone looking for a chance—best of luck to all applicants. If even one dream comes true through this website, its launch will be justified. Dil Raju garu has already launched 14 directors, and now he’s creating a space for actors, directors, technicians, and producers through this platform.
Five years from now, if any of you stand on this stage and say, ‘I realized my dream through Dil Raju Dreams,’ I’ll be extremely happy. My congratulations to Dil Raju garu for creating such a beautiful platform. Thank you all.”
Devi Sri Prasad:
“Good evening to all. It’s wonderful to see so many people here. Every creation starts with a dream. But when you try to chase it, more people try to discourage you than support you. When the people close to you doubt you, that should light a fire within. No matter how many try to bring you down, if you believe in your dream, keep moving forward—no one can stop you.
Dil Raju garu, Sirish garu, and Vijay Deverakonda are prime examples of this. We must believe in ourselves. For us, Raju garu is family—he’s like an elder brother to me. This platform Dil Raju Dreams is a brilliant initiative. I especially loved that there’s a column even for producers. I’ve never seen a website like this before. A great production house launching such a platform makes me very happy. Success should be your ultimate goal—then there will be no dull moments in life. I wish all of you the very best.”
Producer Sirish:
“Namaskaram to all. Thanks to Devi Sri Prasad and Vijay Deverakonda for coming to bless this event. So many talented individuals are present here today. Once you succeed in the industry, don’t forget it. Enter with that promise, and you will surely succeed. Thank you.”
Producer Dil Raju:
“Namaskaram to everyone. Thank you, Vijay and Devi. My journey with Devi began from Arya. I know how hard Devi works to deliver a successful album. Similarly, Vijay started with a small character role and today, he’s created his own kingdom. I’m glad both of them are here.
Under Sri Venkateswara Creations, after Dil, we’ve launched many new directors, and today they’re successful. We’ve now completed 57 films. Every story only moves forward when Sirish feels the script is good. Under our other banner ‘Dil Raju Productions’, Harshith and Hanshitha have also introduced new directors like Venu of Balagam fame, and are planning diverse films with new talent.
Many aspiring directors, producers, actors, and technicians want to enter the industry but lack proper guidance. That is what led to the idea of Dil Raju Dreams. While we continue producing big-budget films, we also want to give chances to fresh talent through this new initiative.
We’ve formed a young team to run the Dil Raju Dreams organization. Many want to become producers but don’t know how to start or complete a film. Some show us short videos, but making a film isn’t enough—it’s a huge task to take it to the audience. Everyone has passion, but not everyone has the right platform. We’re launching this website to provide that platform.
The fact that 2,000 people came to this event shows how much passion there is for cinema. It took us 30 years to get here. Entering the film industry and surviving is not easy. Out of 100 aspiring directors, maybe five get a chance, and only one becomes successful—that’s a 1% success rate.
Don’t quit your day job until you find stability. We didn’t give up our automobile business until we found success. Cinema shouldn’t affect your family. This industry requires struggle and relentless effort. But only you can truly decide if you belong here. Have faith in yourself.
Cinema is attractive—it pulls you in. But you must ensure it doesn’t negatively affect your life. Once you sense success is close, give it everything you’ve got. We, including Vijay, Devi, and Nani, are all independent success stories. Even stars like Chiranjeevi and Rajinikanth were self-made. Success here comes only through hard work.
With Dil Raju Dreams, we’re offering a platform. You can apply. Our team will review applications and only send us the best ones. We’ll take time and give our feedback. Many may get rejected, but that’s not a reason to lose hope. Keep trying with confidence, and success will come.
We’ve also added a column for producers on this website. Our team will analyze and advise on their ideas. The industry is full of scams, so awareness is essential. For this event, we received 10,000 registrations. This shows that 1–2 lakh people worldwide are ready to use this platform to enter the film industry.
