‘Toxic’ Will Be a Path-Breaking, Mind-Blowing Movie: Rocking Star Yash at Grand Pre-Release Event

Rocking Star Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the highly anticipated action drama features an impressive ensemble cast including Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth and Huma Qureshi in key roles.

Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film has been made simultaneously in Kannada and English and will be released in dubbed versions in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam. The movie is scheduled to hit theatres worldwide on August 26, 2026.

Ahead of the grand release, the makers organised a spectacular pre-release event in Hyderabad, attended by Yash, the film’s cast and crew, along with several prominent personalities from the Telugu film industry.

Yash: ‘Toxic’ Will Give Audiences a Great Cinematic Experience

Speaking at the event, Rocking Star Yash expressed his gratitude to Telugu audiences for their continued love and support following the success of KGF.

“After KGF, I didn’t even get the opportunity to come here and thank all of you. I got completely immersed in my work. I sincerely thank the Telugu audience for the immense love and support you have shown me. You have proved that when people work with honesty and determination, audiences will always stand by them,” Yash said.

He emphasised that cinema has no boundaries and that Indian films have the potential to reach a global audience.

“Cinema has no boundaries. Beyond language and borders, there is humanity, love and honesty. I want Indian cinema to stand proudly on the global stage. All of us should work together to give Indian cinema a special place in world cinema,” he added.

Addressing youngsters, Yash urged them to believe in themselves and pursue their dreams with determination.

“You are all young. If you strongly believe in what you want and work towards it with determination, you can certainly achieve success. First, believe in yourself. Work with confidence and don’t get distracted by what others say. Success will definitely follow,” he said.

Talking about Toxic, Yash promised a spectacular cinematic experience.

Toxic will offer a great cinematic experience. Some of the best technicians and artists from India have worked on this film. Everyone has put in tremendous effort to give audiences the best possible experience. I want all of you to come together for Indian cinema and make films that make us proud,” he said.

Yash also praised music composer Ravi Basrur, who previously created the memorable music for the KGF franchise.

“Ravi Basrur, who gave us extraordinary music for KGF, has created magic once again for Toxic. He worked day and night for this film,” Yash said.

He also thanked producer Dil Raju for supporting the film’s Telugu release and praised his passion for cinema.

“Our association with Dil Raju garu began during KGF 2. He is a very passionate producer and genuinely has a big heart. I am extremely happy that we are releasing this film with him. I am confident that Toxic will give audiences a memorable experience,” he said.

Praising producer KVN, Yash said, “KVN garu did not enter the film industry merely to make money. He came with a vision to contribute to the industry. He is building a reputation as one of the best production houses by backing milestone films.”

Yash also appreciated the performances of his co-stars, stating that Huma Qureshi has delivered an impressive performance, while audiences will once again fall in love with Kiara Advani. He expressed his happiness about working with Rukmini Vasanth and praised Nayanthara for her powerful role.

Toxic will be a path-breaking movie. It will be mind-blowing and will give audiences a great experience. The strength and support Telugu audiences have given me, I will return it to you many times over. I will continue to make even more extraordinary films,” Yash promised.

KVN: ‘Toxic’ Will Change the Audience’s Pulse Rate

Producer KVN said the film was made with a bold vision and a grand dream.

“We made Toxic with a very big vision, a bold dream and a lot of care. You can see the attention to detail in every frame of the trailer. The film will give audiences a wonderful experience and a great feeling. Every viewer will take away a different emotion from the movie,” he said.

He praised Yash for constantly working towards taking Indian cinema to the global stage and appreciated director Geetu Mohandas for bringing out the emotions in every scene.

“Geetu worked tirelessly for this film. Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Rukmini Vasanth and the entire cast have delivered outstanding performances. Vishal Mishra and Ravi Basrur have created extraordinary music,” KVN added.

Speaking about the association with Dil Raju, he said the collaboration would give the film a strong reach in the Telugu states.

“Dil Raju garu’s collaboration brings strength to every film. Through him, we have found the perfect channel to take Toxic closer to Telugu audiences,” he said.

Kiara Advani: Telugu Audiences Feel Like Family

Kiara Advani recalled her association with Telugu cinema, saying her journey began with Mahesh Babu’s Bharat Ane Nenu.

“Since my first Telugu film, Bharat Ane Nenu, the love and affection Telugu audiences have shown me has been incredible. Whenever I come here, it feels like coming home. Toxic is not just a Telugu film; it is Indian cinema. I want to thank Yash garu and the entire team. See you all in theatres on the first day, first show,” Kiara said.

Huma Qureshi thanked director Geetu Mohandas for giving her the opportunity to be part of the ambitious project.

Recalling his association with Yash since KGF, Dil Raju praised the actor for choosing a fresh director and believing in the strength of the story.

Music composer Ravi Basrur revealed that he dedicated several months exclusively to Toxic.

“I dedicated seven continuous months of my life to this film. After KGF, I worked with the same level of dedication and commitment. We are bringing a very special film to audiences. When you watch it, you will automatically feel inspired. Yash garu and KVN garu have mounted the film on a grand scale,” he said.
