‘Bison’ to Captivate Telugu Audience – Releasing on October 24
Dhruv Vikram and Anupama Parameswaran are teaming up under the banners of Applause Entertainments and Neelam Studios for the much-anticipated film Bison. Produced by Ranjith and Aditi Anand, with Sameer Nair, Deepak Segal, and PA Ranjith presenting, the film is directed by Mari Selvaraj, featuring music by Niwas K. Prasanna. The Telugu release is scheduled for October 24 under Jagadamba Films. To promote the film, a press meet was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday, October 21.
Dhruv Vikram Speaks About ‘Bison’
Speaking at the event, Dhruv Vikram shared his excitement:
“I’m in Hyderabad for the first time to promote Bison in Telugu, which makes this film very special to me. When I arrived, even shopkeepers recognized me as Vikram’s son. My father often spoke about the struggles and experiments he faced in his journey. Unlike him, I had an easier path, but I am determined to work hard and earn the audience’s love in my own way. I prepared for three years for this role and even trained in kabaddi for the film.”
Dhruv further added, “Mari Selvaraj’s stories are inspired by real-life experiences, and this one is based on Arjuna awardee Manathi Ganesan. The film has already received a fantastic response in Tamil, and I’m confident that Telugu audiences will enjoy it as well. I request everyone to watch it for the story and performances, not just box office numbers.”
Anupama Parameswaran on Her Role
Anupama expressed her enthusiasm:
“I was supposed to act in Mari Selvaraj’s first film, but couldn’t due to prior commitments. Now, being a part of Bison is a dream come true. I learned a lot during the shoot, and the film has already received a tremendous response in Tamil. The Telugu audience’s anticipation has been growing, and we are excited to present it on October 24. Dhruv’s passion for this project is evident, and I am proud to share screen space with him. Niwas K. Prasanna’s music is outstanding, and I thank Balaji for bringing the film to Telugu audiences.”

VP Selvan Balaji, who is distributing the Telugu version, said:
